So does Parker. Reality is that Parker sounds like he can make more money fighting other people so can happily do that until Joshua is willing to agree to a split which is worth Parker's time.

No matter how you cut it, the truth of the matter is that Parker is willing to risk his belt his 0 and his belt for less than Joshua is willing to risk his own - but he's confident he'll win and keep on winning, right? So why not just accept a slightly smaller but still majority cut and keep on winning if it's that easy?

It seems clear that Parker is going to have to make more fights to increase the anticipated coin involved in this fight to make it more worthwhile to both of them - which makes sense, as Parker hasn't had as illustrious wins as he is capable of and the casuals aren't as excited because of that. Here's hoping that is fixed soon.

IDK. I don't think Parker can make REMOTELY what he could make at 30% against AJ against anyone else. By the same token, Wlad gave 50/50 deals to both ibragimov and Haye for unification bouts when they brought much less money to the table. Seems like Parker should get at least 35% for AJ to get another belt.

There is not going to be a fight at this rate.

Parker vs Browne makes more sense.

I'm a fan of Parker, but the truth is both him and Wilder are just looking for Joshua payday.
Especially wilder, who has done jack squat for 40 fights.
They should fight each other and the winner gets AJ.
    But they won't risk it.
To be fair since both wilder and Parker are belt holders, they should get more than 25% of the pie. 70-30 will be a reasonable split with the fight being staged at UK.

What did Charles Martin get against Joshua? What is Parker bringing to the table that Martin didnt? I dont want to see either Parker or Wilder get lowballed here but just how much can either of them justify considering the poor numbers, poor pay and fights happening on youtube.

Through Boxing history Boxers have had to take a hit on the contract table to land the hits in the ring that wins them the belts that then makes them the man who can be hard at the contract table. I think Parker and Wilder should be atleast prepared to get the shitty end of the deal to get their hands on Joshuas belts.

$8 million. So what sense does it make for Parker to take less than that when he's far more legitimate than Martin ever was?

Yeah l expected more of Joshua too. But Hearn is intent on not offering enough to make the fight happen. I suspect Hearn doesn't want Joshua to fight Wilder or Parker.

A fiver and a Twix, well there you have it, in a fight that was interrupted by adverts for teenage bloggers talking about sanitary pads and cloud media. And now he feels he should be paid like a god walking the earth.

Like i say i dont want to see Parker get lowballed but just how much is he really worth in this fight?
