He doesn't have to better FM's record to known as a better or greater fighter. He is unlikely to ever fight at ww. He doesn't have the physical attributes and will probably finish at 140. At 135 Garcia will not know which way he went. The difference in skill level between these two is enormous. There are plenty of guys who have not won as many titles and with losses who are considered greater. He has a great record until you start looking just a little closer. Name one elite fighter in his prime and in the correct weight division that he fought. You won't be able to. There is none. His legacy will always be tainted by his huge appetite for peds. You are one of the guys who I mentioned that just cannot handle your hero in the process of being out done by someone better so you revert to name calling. We will see who the fool is in a few years. You are more than half way there and he has only had 10 fights.

Well executed and articulated response. Everyone has a style that they gravitate towards and you clearly defined what that is for you.

I appreciate the candor in your reply blizz. Anyone is beatable and there are certainly styles that create problems for all boxers. I think Salido proved that for Loma. However, that was very early on and Loma has added some new wrinkles to his game through the experience he has received in the loss to Salido as well as in the fights he’s had since. I hope the rematch happens. I don’t suspect it will unfold the same way it did last time. Salido is older, less active and Loma has a ton of momentum at this stage of his career. When Floyd and PAC dealt with those kinds of styles that creates problems for them, they did come out with wins....for the most part.

JLC was a big challenge for Floyd when they first met. Some felt Floyd lost but he had an injury that could have hindered his performance and turned around a comprehensive win in the rematch. Erik Morales beat PAC the first time out in a war but was completely dominated when they faced off for a 2nd time. Loma needs to get Salido back in the ring and secure the remath if he wants to erase that L

    Well said.
I've never used Floyd's injury as an excuse like others have as to how he fought. Imo Floyd clearly won anyway.

I convicted Loma but I haven't sentenced him. It's never personal to me.

If Loma rematches Salido and wins big props. If he didn't, I'll be critical of him but I'll slowly give him credit. And if I feel that Salido truly doesn't want the rematch then he will be forgiven by me. And while I do blame Loma, I know that Arum deserves more blame.

Loma lost to a guy with a dozen loses that will and can be held against him. What prime elite or ATG has Loma beat? Rigo isn't prime and he's undersized as well. A fight with Mikey Garcia will answer a lot of questions about Loma. Sure he can move up, PBF moved up five weights. If he's the most skillful fighter ever as you call him, he can move up that many as well. PEDS? PBF has never tested positive for them it's speculation with no proof from bitter haters like you. Hell I could speculate that Loma is on PEDS as well neither has failed a PED test yet you claim PBF was on PEDS. Do you see how that works?

We don’t see Floyd have tough fights usually so the JLC fight stands out as one of his toughest fights. I had him winning as well, but it was a close one imo.

Salido definitely wants that rematch! He just wants to get paid accordingly. Lol. And knowing the kind of mentality Salido has, he probably thinks he can repeat? Bob definitely was the roadblock in securing the rematch. Both of those guys were ready to go again right away but Arum wasn’t willing to risk his derailment of the Loma hype train knowing the potential the kid had. It was a smart move by Bob.....I think throwing Loma into the fire with Salido that soon was very ambitious

Rigo is 37 and past his prime, fact. He's already small at 122, fact. This fight is at 130 a weight he really has no business at. With that said props to Rigo for stepping up and taking the fight.

Sure his style ages you actually think it gets better with age? LMFAO! You sound like a novice. Rigo is past his prime and fighting at 3 weight classes classes above his best weight. Loma is the favorite he's bigger and prime, Rigo isn't, it's that simple. It's a good fight but stop acting like they're both prime and fighting at 122 or 118 Loma will dwarf Rigo in the ring.

You dumb ass of course it ages but not as quick as a attacking fighter
rigo relies on defence that's why Hopkins could fight till he was 50 and roy was shot much early

Pac was much smaller then most of the fighters he fought and was still favourite for many despite being the much smaller guy

its a big step up for both guys an who ever wins will get major credit
