He never offered Berto a $52 million purse split. You can twist in a the curtains and make all the insults you want, now that Haymon's cracking open the Hedge Fund wallet, everything just got real.

Nothing that happened before matters going forward.

Who is going to make the best offer?

A $52 million 50-50 split and a shot to break into the U.S. market with a real fight for three titles is nothing to sneeze at.

For Hearn to top that, he has to offer both guys more. (Joshua AND Wilder)

You guys have been whining all week that Hearn should've have to make all the offers.

Well, he can take that one, or he can offer more, or he and Joshua can walk away ... And Haymon can offer Tyson Fury the deal.

Frankly, for pure entertainment, I'd rather see Wilder-Fury.

Joshua is pretty boring when it comes to prefight buildups. Fury-Wilder would be insane.

AJ would have to be an idiot to accept those terms. Wilder should thank his lucky stars should he get a 40% cut.

Other than blizzy saying this happened ... still don’t see any real proof.

If he is offering Joshua a $26 million guarantee to ko Wilder in Vegas it's a great offer.

If he is offering him 50% of the profits on a PPV that will lucky to crack 500,000 buys it's a bad joke.

    Yeah i agree.

What do Joshua fans want? For AJ to beat Wilder or for AJ to earn more money than Wilder?

Beat him after making him fight for peanuts forcing him to rebuild his career by continuing to step up instead of levelling off while ducking the top guys.

Im not really an AJ fan but thats what i would guess they would want.

What kind of purse is he going to put up? What venues does he propose to offset the loss of Joshua's UK gate revenue?

I can't wait to hear all of the accountants who so vociferously tore into Golovkin for being 'unrealistic' in his requests defend Wilder and Haymon's position on this. When the US backed fighter is the bigger draw i.e. Floyd, Canelo - then we hear all this A side B side stuff from their fans some of who have now latched on to Wilder, the D side to Joshua's A side.

    A decent question.

Funnily the answer is prob still Sky, which for all intents and purposes means Hearn. Fury can sell big with his personality and the promise of a styles/personality clash with Joshua he just needs to stay the **** away from Fat Mick.

Warren would do a better job than the carnival fat man/potential Wilder opponent but the Sky infrastructure is what Fury needs behind him to really build some momentum IMO.
