This. Hearn set the bar very high on what he pays champions and every champion is going to hold him to it or not fight his guy.

I dont get it. Everyone is just openly bitching and moaning instead of negotiating. Same as Floyd-Manny.

Joshua didn't offer anything he's not the promoter or manager. You make COUNTER offers which is HIGGINS job to do not claim you won't fight Joshua if you get less than 40 % on TWITTER. As Higgins has done...

As Hearn has stated to these guys get off twitter and make a phone call, bunch of incompetent ppl. Lol

Joshua can fight any dog in the O2 arena and make a few mill.

But to fill a STADIUM time after time? He needs the very top opponents and belt-holders to do that.

Spot on, although I think Parker is willing to travel and his starting negotiation split was 60-40. I think this is easier to be done than the wilder fight.

Parkers basically offering to fight Joshua for less money (60 to Joshua 40 to Parker) but Hearn won't make that happen by not agreeing to Joshuas already bigger cut preposed by Parker, thats why there is no fight. Thats the truth. The truth is the real 'end of'. No buts, no excuses.

So Hearn offered Wilder $4 Million US to fight Whyte, yet Parker should take on AJ for 2 Million Pounds?

What world are you living in?

I rate Parker but if he is so confident of beating Joshua why he doesn't agree to face him. When all is set and done he will make more than 8 mill. Parker wanted 4 million to face Povetkin in Russia, ridiculous. Who Parker thinks he is, a PPV star?!

You could argue that. The trick here is that the offer they have is not as profitable as other deals they apparently have in play, so this comment doesn't apply to Parker.

It could also be argued that if you are a key player on a team bringing in x amount of money, and you are risking your own career in doing so - why would you not hope to be compensated with a reasonable share of the money that is being generated? Why should Parker accept less money than a mandatory would earn facing Joshua when Joshua COULD get a new belt, and Parker could lose one?

How is this for an "end of". If there was so much confidence on AJ's side that this would be a guaranteed win - then why is he making it such a small split that it's almost guaranteed that Wilder or Parker wouldn't take it? Surely getting another belt would make future match ups WAY more profitable, definitely enough so that it'd justify paying a little more for a fight that Hearn and Joshua are saying won't pull huge numbers anyway.

what would new zealand tv /ppv perhaps australia tv pay team parker for a joshua fight.

the time zones cant help i would guess big uk fights take place 11am to midday sundays in australasia.

    hardly prime time.

Big UK fights take place between 6am & 10am on a Sunday morning Australian East Coast time.

Virtually no pubs or clubs would be buying.

Parker's first two world title fights weren't ppv in Australia. The Big Cat Fury fight was & apparently did quite well but I assume "quite well" was in the context of the time slot.
