He said he had to make a deal with Hearn to drop the title if he won the fight with Clev. Could be, boxing is like that, especially when the organization skipped a whole bunch of contenders and offered the title shot to Broadhurst.
I'd give jack a shot of beating Bivol regardless TBH. I've learnt my lesson about picking against the man.
Jack would've went the Charlo route and KO'd him for his insolence if he believed that it was easy work. He doesn't. However, Adonis is a bigger fight, so I see the logic. I don't like to use the word "duck"...but it was a gamble. The Stevenson fight wasn't signed. If the Stevenson fight happens, it was worth it. If not, it's going to look like a really dumb move.
Yes, he did not want to fight Bivol, Bivol would knock him out! Most boxing fans know that................
Ummm yeah. He didn't want to jeopardize his big money match against Stevenson, because the likelihood of him losing to Bivol is fairly high, why risk it? Its a duck. That's just the brutal reality for Quack, he knew moving into this division of monsters that he's on borrowed time, he picked the easiest prey he could find with Clev, picked up a strap, now he's looking to cash out. He probably won't get past Stevenosn, he most likely loses to Alvarez, Bivol, Barrera and Smith Jr. and would definitely lose to Kovalev, Beterbiev and Gvozdyk. His options are limited, he and Al are going to carefully manage his career from here on out, so not only was the Bivol duck a duck, but prepare for a whole lotta ducking going on... in the future.
Remember how you've literally never gotten a Badou Jack pick right? Maybe it's time you changed your mind big boy. The rippers at 175 and he's hungry. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
WELL GUESS WHAT BIG BOY (what are you ****ing gay)??? I WILL THIS TIME. His string of LUCK is about to run out. And it luck is what its been.
So you're bragging about him beat a shot to **** Clev, and barely squeaking by Anthony Dirrell? Because he didn't beat DeGale outright, and the Groves match could have gone either way, and quite frankly, the Bute draw wasn't all that egregious, after all, it was Jack on the backfoot, getting rocked in the 12th by Lucian, not the other way around. Another little reality check for most of you Quack dickriders on here, Groves, DeGale, Dirrell all get demolished at Light Heavyweight as well. I was going to say so would Bute, but he already has, by the most featherfisted one of the bunch Eleider Alvarez. The Champion of the division Stevenson has been ducking the majority of the division, cherry picking his way through it for years now, that's how scary it is, and this ****ing lucky overachiever is gonna show up and put them on notice? Please.
