    Source please.

Last I heard Parker said there's gonna be no fight next year.

I'm not sure. How much does he usually earn? How much money do his fights usually generate? He's probably worth about 25%.

This. His fight with Fury was on YouTube... With a combined purse of £1.9million.

Wilder vs Stiverne combined purse was similar.

Joshua vs Takam was £11 million.

Do mandatories command whatever their average earnings are or do they get extra due to their status?

Its 75/25... unless it goes to purse bids where I think it can be negotiated either way. Jacobs demanded more than his 25% from Golovkin IIRC.

They are still negotiating and Hearn is starting to realize that they will have to pay Parker more than 2 mil which was downright disrespectful.

Why? He only earned 1.1 vs Fury.

Meh, cba with politics and finance me. Just make the fight if Wilder doesn't want it.

Because a fighter's worth is not solely down to how much they themselves make. There are other factors to consider. A beltholder should be able to command more of the split than a mandatory not least because they're putting their own belt on the line and jeopardising their future earnings. Parker or Wilder might not be worth what they are asking for in terms of their own earning power, but a unification should still always trump a mandatory in terms of importance.

Tell that to the Canelo fanboys who stated GGG should take 10mil flat because he isn't a draw....

As far as I'm concerned the fact that Parker holds a title is cancelled out by the fact that Joshua also holds a title (more than one actually). Therefore it comes down to how much money they generate.

Oh definitely not blaming Joshua. I see your point clearer now.
