If I understand you right. You wanted an even smaller and weaker takam?!

    Cruisers have nothing on SHW's...

No I want someone with some speed, real skill, fighting heart and a chin like Holyfield who have beat or drawn fighters as big as josh ie bowe, Lewis who by the way have more skill and speed and certainly more stamina than Joshua. And by the way these super heavies as you call them are just oversized overweight heavies that want to get in shape, baby miller 284 pounds, stirverne 247 pounds, and the list goes on there real fighting weight is about 230 max, that’s why there’s no movement or stamina in heavyweight division.

Not a lot of difference between Joshua and the Foreman Holy beat in 1991 expect AJ had worse stamina and would gas out fending Holy off after 5-6 rounds. Then Holy grinds out a stoppage win around the 7th or 6th round.

But people forget Lennox Lewis was the best of that era and he proved it.No One gives him credit in America becuase ironically he is not a American.Beat Tyson,Holyfield twice,Rahman in rematch the best the Us had to offer. If Joshua does the same with Wilder and Parker i bet he wont get it aswell. You cant win

This really deserves no response but I'm bored so I have time to EDUCATE you!

First off Bowe was not fast nor athletic. He was a very heavy footed off balance puncher half the time, his main strength was the upper cut and jab.

Joshua does not rely on the Jab BC he has superior close range fighting and is NOT a shoulder to shoulder inside fighter like Bowe was .This gives him more freedom of range while staying in range to counter punch.

Bowe did not remotely have this ability nor Joshua's combo structured punching.Joshua also throws more uppercuts, harder ones too (Holyfields weakness ).

    Let's do the math here.
    1. Holyfield will be fighting a guy taller than Bowe.

    2.Faster than Bowe

    3. 20 pounds heavier than Bowe

    4. Joshua favorite punch is the uppercut.

    5. Joshua is an excellent counter puncher so that in itself would throw a wrench into Holyfields style.

    6. Holyfields doesn't have a good track record of defeating true SHWs ,his two loses to Bowe and Lewis (yes he lost the first one) should be a clear cut reminder here who the match favors.

    7. I'll stop here though I can keep going but if you are questioning my 1st post you probably wont get this one either though its obviously clear. You guys really need to watch the fights and get off the fighter nostalgia worship around here @facts :demon7:

AJ would whoop the best Evan Fields. Fields was too small, didn't hit hard enough, and didn't have the style to get inside. Now if Fields was 6'6, I'd take him every day of the week over Joshua, Klitschos, Wilder, and that fat. raw boar eating, coke head Fury.

Holyfield! Too much grit, craft and skill for Joshua. The size and strength would be an advantage for Joshua but Holyfield always gave that up in his prime as a heavyweight. I think he would have knocked Joshua out

Bowe was a monster at his best. He was very fast, fluid and explosive for a man 230-240 lb. He just didn’t live up to his potential because he had a poor work ethic in between training camps and would balloon up in weight. But the man could fight.

Joshua is very good but it’s a different era and not as deep and rich as the early 90’s heavyweight era

Saying Bowe was very fast is a bit of an exaggeration. He wasn't slow per se, but he wasn't as fast as some like to suggest. His hand speed was good for a big man, quicker than Joshua but slower than Lewis' or Wlads. His main issue was poor movement, he was a plodder to be honest with a porous defence. His jab also lacked versatility.

I know 1st hand about his work ethic BC my uncle was one of his trainers in the PAL golden gloves league in N.Y.

There's also NO fight to suggest otherwise he could handle a bigger stronger close range fighter than himself. ppl on here critize Joshua with Takam yet Bowe struggles against old TUBBS in the 90s ? That is called BIZARRO world.

Bowe was very good and would give Joshua a competitive fight up until Joshua saw a moment to pounce which would be sooner than later.

Bowes not as skilled or dangerous as Joshua...end of.

In context....very fast for a super heavyweight. He was faster and more fluid than most men his size or bigger. He was faster and more fluid than Lewis and Wald in my opinion. His jab wasn’t better than Lewis or Wald but he was a much better infighter. Both Wald and Lewis were more powerful and had better 1-2 combos with the jab followed by the straight right. They used their height and reach a lot better than Bowe.

Bowe does get over rated. In regards to comparisons between Joshua and Bowe, I think Joshua does very well. His jab is as good as Bowe's, he hits as hard if not harder, he is actually better defensively, which says more about how bad Bowe's was than how good Joshua's is. I think Joshua has better punch technique too.

I think Joshua actually has an easier time against Bowe than Holyfield even though Bowe beat Evander twice. Styles makes fights and the durabilty of Holyfield, his speed, the lack of mobility of Joshua and Evander's work rate and stamina make it a far tougher assignment than Bowe.

If there is drug testing for the fight, Holyfield gets KO'd.

Holyfield is a bit over rated. His best wins all have asterisks. He never beat the best version of his best wins. Buster Douglas had ballooned into a fat slob. Moorer came into the ring looking pregnant. Bowe came in out of shape, he was getting all he could handle in the Tyson rematch so he started headbutting, etc. We saw What happened when Moorer and Bowe came to fight. Holyfield took that L. He was gonna take the L in the Tyson rematch but he made Mike snap after head butting him one too many times.

Joshua would pummel Holyfield, oops, I mean Evan Fields. Holyfield was one dirty mother ****er. Always using his head as a weapon, and roiding up.
