David Lemieux: One Month Until Ugly Saunders Gets Destroyed!

Saunders has looked poor in his last 3 fights. the odds I'm seeing have the fight even which I almost never see.
Now has saunders just fought to his level fought a limited andy lee and did what he felt was just enough to win?
did he did the same vs the worm where he did just enough to win 7 rounds?

the fight vs Artur Akavov was a very poor decision.

Could the tables turn on saunders a bad decision goes against him?

People talk about Saunders fading, Lemieux after about 6 rounds will have a lot less on his punches. and I doubt he can knock saunders out late but probably can keep him honest. The odds are going to be against saunders and while he is a pure boxer he is kind of on the Malignaggi B+ level

While the few people on here that are picking saunders to win but wont give him credit because it will be "easy vs someone he is way better than"

I see it as someone he is even with on the rankins and if he goes to canada and wins that's a huge deal, this is his biggest fight of his life and because of that this might be the best of him we see.
History of traveling between canada and uk has HEAVILY favourite the hometown boxer.
A win will improve most peoples opinions on him and should mean a lot to the people picking Saunders.

 

press row was split on the andy lee fight even with the two knockdowns. a very used up andy lee lost a close MD. I think if BJS wins vs lemieux + it being away from home will mean much more.

Can you imagine Saunders as one of the hardest punchers p4p in the sport?! Hitting harder as the likes of Lemmy, GGG, Lee, Stevens and Jacobs at MW.

 

Thats some wishful thinking imo. Saunders will be outgunned in the power DEPT, But that doesn' mean he can't rock Lemieux or keep him honest.

 

Hope Lemieux can deliver.

I expect BJS to put a clinic on against the limited Lemieux as I think BJS is far better on the back foot than even GGG because of his movement and speed advantage. I'm expecting the scorecards to be in the 117-113 range for most boxing fans. I'm fully expecting BJS to get screwed in this fight, as its in Canada, and Golden****s are there watching David in particular for Canelo's next fight. I'm afraid a massive robbery is going down in another "Montreal Screwjob", hopefully after BJS gets screwed all of the travelling community hit the ring and start smashing Kellerman's monitors and spits in the face of ODLH
