I’d rather see Hughie Fury vs. David Price.

Think about it: Price’s weakness is his chin, and Hughie is a powderpuff puncher.

Could Hughie box on the back foot all night and outpoint him? Could he actually put together some meaningful shots to expose Price’s china chin? Or would Price walk through him.

That’s the fight I’d like to see. Baby Hughie needs to get back in the ring and show he has the stuff to compete. This would be a good test, rather than some never-heard-of-before-or-since EE with a shiny record against missing persons.

At least the winner would gain something, and we could pretty much write off the loser for good.

Price will not give Fury much work, that fight will be too easy. Fury needs to stay in the ring until he fights Joshua and Wilder............

Could you imagine if Price actually beat Fury though??? Highly unlikely I know but 2 years out the ring combined with a weight issue, all it takes is one mistake and Price could land a bomb on Furys chin. I'd be interested to see how the bookies price this one.

It’s the perfect comeback fight for him.

It would be interesting, like somebody said on here, years back there was a lot of hype about it, when TF called him and his gay lover out!!

Can't see it happening to be honest, or rather would I like to see it, personally no.

Even for Fury after being out so long I think it is a step back, he probably has a harder time doing the school run than he does in this fight...

Not the worst idea as Price can bang and is rarely in terrible fights. Whyte wouldn't be a bad second comeback fight for Fury to build towards the Joshua fight.

Fury needs to not only sort out his weight/conditioning but his promotional situation- I'd keep Mick on as a manager but sign a three fight deal with Matchroom with the third fight being the Joshua event.

Whyte would be a great first fight back for Fury as it would go late or full distance. Whyte is not a big puncher with his AJ rivalry Fury would grow a fight with AJ even more by beating Whyte. Doubt Eddie or Whyte would want go know as Tyson has no belts and Whyte would get schooled.

I know but Whyte and Hearn would say he' not got a belt. Would be a duck that's my point.

If Fury isn't right, Price *could* knock him out inside 2 rounds. Fury has been caught before, plenty of times in fact, this idea that he can't be caught literally only came about overnight after his last fight, when all the evidence before that was to the contrary.

Even guys as good as Lennox Lewis got caught and KO'd when he wasn't quite right.

Obviously though, Fury would be favourite, but nothing is a foregone conclusion, especially in the HW division.

Easy for Fury.I think Tyson gets into David's head before the fight.
If they fought next week my money would still be on Fury.

there was a time when Price *could've* beat Fury, but Price proved to have NO Whiskers, so if TF is in even decent shape there shouldn't be much worry. But Price could just as easily 'upset' because TF can be hit and has been wobbly hurt, so yes could happen.

also Fury hasn't really received a decent crack in the last couple of fights, partially owning to Fury being an 'improved' fighter in those latter fights and also because they were 'stinkers' as far as good/great fights go.

I want to see Fury back better in every department, because I think it's in there somewhere, he'll never be a GREAT Legendary Fighter, but he could retire a well respected very good and capable fighter... which has still got to be measured.

That measure for now is an eventual AJ match, but I'd like to see Price, then Briggs inside 3-6 months and then an AJ scrap.

Good match up for fury if he want Joshua down the line. Big stiff robotic fighter with a huge punch. Perfect.
