Carl Frampton vs. Horacio Garcia & Jerwin Ancajas vs. Jamie Conlan RBR.

Conlon way out his depth. What happened in the first round knock down ? Was it delayed reaction ?

 

Tough loss to come back from being that one sided.

 

Conlan has always been punching above his weight, he's won wars against limited fighters who are featherfisted like Nelson, Granados etc - but once he was in with a fighter with genuine power he kept getting pasted. He's got great heart but a glass body and poor chin, and he couldn't figure out how to get any success, largely due to Anjacos systematically beating him down. I think Conlan should be chasing a fight with Paul Butler for a big pay day, he's still an entertaining fighter despite this disappointing showing.

 

Yeah, this fight is weird right from the beginning. Ancajas hit him and Conlan had a late reaction like 2 second delay.

 

Was one sided. Pointless the fight going on any longer.

 

well this conlan will never be a world champ lol.. not sure his younger brother will either.. tbh unless he comes across a weak belt holder .

 

I think he was hit to the solar plexus and simply couldn't breathe after that. He really struggled with his engine in this fight and every body shot had him gasping for air, even light shots to the SP had him struggling.

 

It didn't look anything in the first round,i didn't catch it properly though

Ancajas can crack. Conlan showed a lot of heart there. I thought he was going to give up. But didn't really impressed me.Entertaining fight though.

 

Yet again a Danny Vaughn fighter loses on the big stage.
