End of round 1 was the most telling moment in the WLad vs Fury fight

Exactly the anxiety Fury felt from knowing the first fight was going to be exposed a fluke, caused him to turn to food and drugs for comfort, and gave him a excuse to prevent the coming loss.

I wouldn't go that far, but he clearly had the potential to be truly great. But, here's the thing. They say talent is overrated and it is. The long, hard hours in the gym is where careers are made or broken. If Tyson doesn't have the mental fortitude to lay off the lard and put in the sweat, he'll forever be a "coulda been". Look Fury fluked a fight just like Spinks and Douglas, then he refused to rematch just so he could lord his win and claim to be the greatest over everyone. It is weak minded and completely pathetic, but that is your great champion Tyson Fury.

 

Even Fury knows it was a fluke that is why he was too scared to rematch Wladimir, because it was going to be exposed as a fluke.

I thought Tyson would be starched against Wlad, and I was wrong. That said, I think Wlad worked him out in the 12th, and I would dearly have liked to have seen a rematch. I'm a bit sour about that but I guess Fury has bigger problems now than a missed rematch. He needs to get his act together before he runs out of money.

It would be cringeworthy if he were forced back into the ring by financial issues, weighing 350lb and got the snot beaten from him by somebody like Wilder.
