I don't think his chin was total glass, but it was average, probably worse than average to be honest. His heart made up for a lot of it, he always got up, but he was dropped way too many times by way too many fighters to think his chin wasn't a weakness. How many times was he dropped? I can think of 12 times off the top of my head.
4 times against Sanders (I think) 3 times against Peter 3 times against Joshua 2 times against Brewster 1 time against Puritty. 1 time against Pannell. 1 time against Williamson. I think that's all of them. 15 times I think.
There are many things that go into taking a punch. Physically I think Wlad was a little better than average in taking a punch. One punch didn't end him, and he often shook off the effects of solid blows in the next round. Mentally Wlad had more issues that he should have in terms of taking a punch. I'd say his chin rates about 6 to 6.5 out 10, suspect to power punchers.
Agree with this. Wlad's mentality is his let-down. He's basically far too civilized and a gentleman to be in a ring, despite his success. I doubt Wlad ever went into a fight thinking about how much he was going to enjoy hurting the other guy and hoping to permanently break something. I bet his brother did, though.
nothing, because louis crap chin doesnt exist. now go back to the previous post and acknowledge that sanders isnt going to last more than a few rounds let alone 10. or keep your head in the sand. your choice.
let me help u out there BCS, just so you dont overtax your brain. to save time on your behalf, I'll post your wonderously enlightening, cerebrally challenging replies for forthcoming two months -
Are you sure about Williamson? All I can see on you tube is the final round, Williamson down four times.
Klitschko was lucky he was pulled out of that Williamson fight cos he was on his way to being stopped. Funny how in Williamsons previous fight against a bummy cruiser weight he was the one who was floored , but against Wlad he was the one doing the flooring ...
