This noones chap sounds like he has good taste. You should probably capitalize his name, though. Mr. Noones.
GENNADY GOLOVKIN. RECORD: 37-0-1, 33 KOs. ... VASYL LOMACHENKO. RECORD: 9-1, 7 KOs. ... TERENCE CRAWFORD. RECORD: 32-0, 23 KOs. ... CANELO ALVAREZ. RECORD: 49-1-2, 34 KOs. ... KEITH THURMAN. RECORD: 28-0, 22 KOs. ... ERROL SPENCE JR. RECORD: 22-0, 19 KOs. ... GUILLERMO RIGONDEAUX. RECORD: 17-0, 11 KOs. ... MIKEY GARCIA. RECORD: 37-0, 30 KOs. Look at the names on the P4P list by ESPN an explain why Loma is 2nd.
Lomachenko doesn't deserve p4p status because he didn't progress through the ranks fighting 20 journeymen and prospects. Got ya. Unfortunately I don't think that's a requirement for ESPNs P4P list.
There's nothing premature about it. 10 fights for Lomachenko is 9 title fights. People are rating guys with a single world title fight in the top 5.
Explain how Crawford, Rigo, Garcia, Spence and Thurman have done better. Lomachenko has beaten better fighters than all the fighters imo in a 3rd of the time. Only Crawford has been as dominant.
LOL I fail? If it's in life then I'm not the one spamming forums with pure shyte all on my lonesome HerolTurd a failure on the forum and in life.
It would be better if we listed their championship record separate from their pro record, recognizing that it is a step up in talent, the same way we don't mix amateur records together with pro records. We might get a more accurate picture of their resume's depth that way. I don't care how many no hopers you crush, so I don't even look at most fighters first twenty opponents.
The thing is it's a p4p list. If you're on it then you are operating at the top level. What you did before you got to the top level is irrelevant yet people keep bringing it up.
All depends on the fighters mentality, and confidence. At 5'7, he wouldn't be the shortest welter. Thurman is only 5'7, Cotto was 5'7. Porter is like 5'5, Bradley was 5'5. Marquez was 5'7, Pac was 5'6.
