I think physically his chin was around average. Sanders was the quintessential wrong fighter for him - about the most "wrong" fighter for Wladamir on the planet, dude was always just gonna have his number. After that fight I think his mental and emotional state as well as footwork and balance issues played a major role in his "chin" problems. And I also think his chin and psyche problems were a product of his unbelievable natural talent, ability, size, skills, and brutal power and offensive output. I think he came up through boxing destroying pretty much everyone put in front of him and totally overwhelming them that anyone who didn't fold and submit to him and his abilities ended up KO'ing Wladamir mentally. Throw in endurance issues and it all paints a picture as if he had a glass chin, and I guess he did, but I wouldn't say it was due to him having a legitimately glass chin physically, I'd say it was glass because of the myriad issues pertaining to it.
You have no respect for logic. I have no respect for those who have no respect for logic. You're a very stupid person. Where's that quote from?
he didnt. it was HW boxing, you get floored now and again. ali went down several times, but he sure as hell didnt have a weak chin, he had one the best ever...except to YOU.
cooper is your LHW dropping ali. johnson getting dropped by a MW. Dempsey getting knocked about by a MW. though they all won in the end, no big deal. you get caught right, and you can go down, its what your brain does when hit, any brain. why u denying this? u not boxed yourself? I am curious as to why u dont see it, thats all.
says the man ignoring logic, exactly, thanks. why dont you just go back to your "I'm right because ...you're stupid" argument, it worked much better than this even if was obviously desperate.
Ali redeemed himself with brutal displays of punishment taking. Louis continued to get hurt and dropped throughout his career. Clear difference in punch resistance. Not sure what you consider is a good chin if anyone can be dropped by anyone.
That's what I've been doing throughout this thread. It's not a matter of not being able to come up with a logically constructed argument, but of not wanting to waste my time with it on you.
yeah of course ali has better chin than louis. so? doesnt mean louis chin is crap, its good. he gets up, beats em up, just like ali. better even, his unbroken run of wins was better. u keep iceskating uphill with joe louis number1 HW ATG had a crap chin there u go.
His chin was okay, just not that good. He was just difficult to hit cleanly a lot. One thing I will say is that (I think anyway) he always got up but was just waved off each time. A few casuals after that AJ fight told me that Wlad clearly had solid whiskers but I think AJ's one punch power has been rather overstated for a little while now
