I don't think he should get much stick for pulling out when injured. I think we can see his body is a mess and nobody wants to see Bellew barely beat another cripple then act like he's just smashed out prime Ali and Lewis on the same night.

He deserves stick for wasting his prime at showbiz galas and celeb hangouts and scheduling fights its clear his body won't be ready for.

So that's all Wlad has. A hollow anecdote that has no shine when you look at the details. Was champion for twelve years and fought no one, took no vols, has no braggable wins, and no professional level technical prowess whatever. So great he punched himself just like Tyson.

The pair of them are so amazing they put on the first HW championship match featuring both a challenger and a champion who had punched themselves in their own faces. I don't mean the first since Queensberry took over, I mean since 686 BC. 3k years of history, first era to suck bad enough for that to happen.

    Wlad was ****.

I never forgave him his craven showing against Wlad, so am not surprised. A waste of righteously earned entertainment budget is this phony.

Makes me laugh when some people refer to Fury as the lineal champion still.

For sure but I’d not really taken into consideration about fans of his and Bellew wanting to watch this live not only having bought tickets but the traveling expenses and also hotels they’d booked to stay at whilst there, that’s adding up to quite a considerable amount of money and let’s say the rematch gets remade for the spring perhaps are these same fans gonna lay out again in the hope that Haye pulls through another camp just intact never mind being in shape?
Most of us on here at risk of sounding like we were hating called out this so called come back for what it was,a mediocre heavyweight deciding to come back amongst those who are making something of their careers and also the fact that he wasn’t doing it to win titles or the love of the sport it was purely to get himself some coin and rarely do these reasons add up to anything and so it’s proved up to now with two wins over made up bums and a loss to Bellew and yet still he’s been talking of this showdown with Joshua.
Don’t wanna sound like a hater but I seen right through this from the start and the guy just winds me up

Haye was never getting in ring in December but he is skint and will sign up for anything!

He has been more or less irrelevant for nearly 10 years now...how there are still people out there willing to waste their time and money buying tickets or PPVs for this muppet is beyond stupid!!

Casual fans need to do a bit of homework before being hoodwinked into opening their wallets

I can't think of a fight where Haye hasn't "claimed" injury at the last minute.

Firstly harsh as it sounds I don't give a **** about Bellew fans. I can't stand the man or the cretins who follow him.

Secondly buying a ticket to this was always a gamble due to Haye's injury record. It was hardly a surprise - there were multiple threads on here on it. Anyone with half a brain cell - so prob not a single Bellew fan - would have booked their hotel with a no desposit pay on arrival kind of deal which are commonly found online so they should be out of pocket to the tune of a rail fare.

Anyway time to retire Haye, your body simply isn't up to the rigours of professional fighting.

I'm not sure how anyone in this day and age can still be willing to shell out to go to a Haye fight knowing his p!ss poor track record of pulling out at the last minute. It's literally something like 50-50 whether he even makes it to the ring, if you take into account his last few fights.
