Yeah they have but, you'll have to become a fan of boxing and do the research yourself. And Loma should've beat Salido but didn't and maybe can't.

    Not even close.

In the modern era I'd say McGregor takes the prize.

But in older days a lot of the greats had a lot of fights and often those could be stay busy fights against debut fighters, Robinson for example in 63.

But it's incredibly impressive for Loma to have taken this fight. Even more impressive for Salido to have won it though

Doesn’t take away from the fact that it was a cherry pick gone wrong.

Pete Rademacher fought Floyd Patterson in his debut. McGregor fought Floyd Mayweather Jr in his debut.

Um, let's not talk about Mayweather-McGregor. That was a circus act, not a real professional boxing match.

A fighter with 1 professional fight doesn't even have the capacity to cherry pick.

Just look at how carefully guys are moved the majority of the time, Wilder is a perfect example, and you already had the answer.
Nobody that I can recall in the past 30 years has ever jumped into the fight game like Lomo did with Salido at any weight

Will Grisgsby, who wound up winning world titles twice at 108, faced Micheal Carbajal (a future HOF fighter) in his second pro fight (and Carbajal's debut). In terms of talent, I think this might overtake Salido.

Of course, these guys weren't going 12 at this point in their careers...So, there is that.

Dude... Carbajal wasn't a seasoned pro, then. Bad example.

He was an Olympic silver medalist, who would win his first world title in less than two years. In terms of talent, that's a tough guy for a prospect to take at an early stage of his career.
