It's a bold move to put pressure on Hearn, personally I think the more transparent the negotiations the better. I thought the 35% offer from Parker was fair, probably the most he could or should expect but not an outrageous demand at all.

We don't know what Hearn's counter offer was which is why I want more transparency. Though I doubt Hearn will bite and be willing to do things in front of the public as he has criticised Duco and Wilder's team for doing that previously.

Yeah. I don't really like how it makes Higgins/Team Parker look but the reality is - they've not been getting the interest and therefore negotiation leverage they need. Higgins is definitely taking the "there is no such thing as bad publicity" angle and to be fair, it seems to be working.

I'm hoping it's a roleplay of how Parker is going to knock out Joshua.

    And Higgins is playing Joshua.

I understand what your saying and it just might work I lived in NZ for 5 yrs I love the place and saw a lot of early Parker fights so I was a fan early. I understand the economies of scale in NZ they aren’t the same as the UK just look at the press conferences that will tell you everything.

But I do think this is a bad look... they have gone from having the begging cup out “saying all we want is to be treated fairly etc” to now trying to publicly ridicule AJ... and pinning all their hopes on bloody sparing rumours and a one minute 10 second clip...

Parker has been no slouch in his career so far but AJ has performed better against similar level opponents, one shared opponent and one ATG he holds more titles more fan base and worldwide appeal.

It may work and I guess you could argue they are playing the cards they were dealt but to me it just appears desperate.

And I expect any fighter that negotiates with any big mouth promoter from here on out lets the public know why this fight didn't get made.

Surely if they want to make a splash, they should put Parker on a plane to Dubai to call out Joshua in person.

Actions like that made the Klitschko - Haye fight huge.

What, every goddamn Joshua opponent has to bring something to the table? Every last one? And the one's who you say bring something to the table are either old or drug cheats. Man I'm about to say **** Joshua and list Wilder and Parker as the hvw unification fight for the lineal title if this stiff mother****er keeps playing these ****en games.

You have a chance to fight both guys in your country and you want to play ****en money and worth games. I don't even like talking about this ****. I leave that **** up to the nerds. Who as a boxing fans gives a **** what a fighter gets? I thought that fans just wanted to see fights. Maybe im wrong. It's good to hear what guys are getting paid, but who the **** justifies not fighting this guy or that guy for these dumbass financial reasons?

It takes two to tango. You think Joshua should be willing to pay Wilder/Parker more for a fight than he is willing to offer, others will say they should lower their demands to make the fight.

Personally, as any fight between 2 of the 3 likely wouldn't be until March at the earliest I'm comfortable that a deal will be made with time to spare.

Parker is openly saying that he will accept less. Wilder Joshua could be in America.

This has about as much effect as me doing a press conference in my living room.
