The low ball is their finest angle. Like I said, if he doesn't fight either guy, he will rot in the UK.

LOL. Sorry but if you think this will make the main news in England 6pm you're out of step with reality.

AJ is popular and when fights are announced or have just been fought he might get 30 seconds on the sport section. But boxing still isn't that popular and this guff won't mentioned at all.

    unbeleivable

    they talked about mugabe resigning
they talked about merkel in trouble in germany
they talked about todays budget in the uk
they talked about the missing argentinian submarine
they hardly mentioned the 50 people suicide bomb in nigeria

Yeah, but this is major sports news, AJ getting emasculated.

I never said it would headline, but damn sure it will get its 30secs worth

I'll gladly take a ban bet on it,think about it who else has he got to fight, with Fury off the scene and Ortiz taking himself out of the equation by testing positive for something there just not many names in the division that will deliver like a unification with Wilder and let's be honest AJ doesn't appear scared of taking a loss as he really should of lost to Wlad if he'd still of had that killer instinct he would of lost so I don't see him ducking wilder for fear of losing as it's probably gonna be a multiple fight deal anyway.
For the sake of it lets think of possible names that would match a fight with Wilder.
Joseph Parker probably next but IMO doesn't deliver the same test or money as Wilder.
Wilders next possible opponent is said to be almost sure to be Breazele so keep your eyes on him being promoted from seventh in the WBC to mandatory,I don't mind this fight as it gives Wilder a chance to compare himself to how AJ did as AJ did with Molina.

Pulev surely must have to wait now
    Fury still no boxing licence
Povetkin can't see happening before Wilder
Miller according to Hearn will get a shot after a few more wins
Whyte could possibly face Wilder but if you go off what Hearn has said it sounds like both Wilder and AJ have one more fight each before they unify.
So you see going off this there's just not much out there and with fan pressure gone are the days of Floyd v Manny like ducks so I'm saying without trying to sound like I'm an AJ fan or Wilder fan I'm simply repeating what got talked about at that meeting and despite what we want that is still the traditional way of making fights, now I've never been a fan of the A side v B side but it is a fact of boxing and so likewise Wilder can go on about 50/50 till he's blue in the face and just basic boxing business and common sense will see this fight get made or not but believe me the general consensus from fans and media is that if Wilder keeps sticking out for 50/50 it will be perceived that it's in fact him who's avoiding this fight as let's face even 30% would be a huge pay day with the chance of winning and dictating terms should he win.
I know Montero thought 2019 but I fully expect this fight to be around late summer/Autumn next year and if they've both got a fight each next I can't see how we can't be happy with that.

Fair play but why have you never once held Wilder down to these standards,That old man was no two in the division,When Stiverne was announced as we all knew he would be even MVC said he'd had enough of this BS with Wilder, and you know the annoying thing Blizz you know I'm not a hater like some in fact I had Wilder fav to beat Povetkin and Ortiz,no what annoys me is that even Hearn said of Wilder that he's been asking for good fights for ages and his promoters have sucked big time.
Anyway I reckon it's gonna be a two fight deal but who knows the way these two fight they could both be short affairs.

Lol Parker ain’t getting the fight now, Duco events are just so out of their depth it’s embarrasing. My god Parker looked so stupid at that press conference.

I think what this press conference did is display the disparity in star power in the HW division. It’s come to the point where press conferences are being staged where boxers are actually begging for a fight with Joshua.

That all being said Joshua seems rattled by all these fighters at the moment which he really shouldn’t be. He needs to stay off social media and let Hearn deal with it.

I was expecting more from Higgins, that was one boring as **** press conference. That won't make the mainstream news in the UK not a chance. Just watched the BBC news sports section, not a thing about it and they mentioned frickin womens rugby as the final story, yet nothing about a boring as **** press conference.

It might of got on the news if something interesting was said or happened. Duco events and Higgins showing their lack of experience. I doubt there was any UK press even there. If they had been smart they should of done it in the UK at a venue near where a boxing event was happening there would of been load of press from the UK there, who could off popped over to cover their press conference.

The notion that this shower of shite press conference could make main UK news is truly laughable.

The cringe level of this probably matches Hearn and Quiggs infamous million pound cheque

No-one knows. Hearn hasn't said anything, and Duco hasn't either despite numerous press conferences.

To be fair, I can't think of a single boxer who doesn't say that he can't knock out the guy he is talking about.

I think you overestimate the pressure these stunts will put on Hearn. Millions will see it, shrug and then talk about the football scores. At least we have an ultimatum now, 35% against AJ, or they will take less money and fight Browne.
