Yep. And let’s see Briggs back up the **** he talked about Tyson a few years back :) It will be a Vitali type whoopin Briggs gets. And then he can fade off like he should have done after Vitali ****ed him up.

Fury needs an easy warm up and Briggs is still looking for that payday after being banned by the WBA for doping.

Guess it will come down to money. Fury isn't a big draw but many will tune in to see what shape he is in and to see if he could be a threat to Joshua. So maybe there will be enough money for Briggs.

Does anybody else think the pressers and build up will be a bit of a dud? A let down?

Both these guys have ballooned in weight and had noteworthy issues with depression before, I actually think they'd be annoyingly respectable towards each other due to that shared experience. Not a bad comeback fight for Fury though. I doubt he can actually knock Briggs out, a shutout on the cards en route to a mid-late retirement a la Chisora II is far more likely.

At least the Ring belt will finally gets released from hostage again, no chance for a guy like Briggs to majorly embarrass heavyweight boxing by becoming "Ring champion" if Fury happens to drop down from a heart attack at his return.
Because coming tuesday it's 2 years since Fury last stepped into a boxing ring, so no more loopholes on technicality left to protect him anymore.

I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised. I hope it’s not though! Watching Fury box Briggs head in would be a lot of fun.

HAH. He wants a fight with Briggs, but orders an XL WHopper Meal at BK instead.

Fuggit, I'll cheer for Briggs. It would be hilarious for Fury to be taking a soft touch as a comeback fight and getting himself starched by Grandpa Briggs.

Shannon Briggs #1 Champion makes another run at the lineal title!

    With his walking stick!

Would be a decent return fight if it happened ... but with those two anything can happen even if it was already signed. What are the chances of both not getting injured or pulling out?

Sweet jesus! Don't think Ricky would still be laughing when he figures out Fury just ate his (uncircumcised) brother Matthew.

It's a good fight if there's no VADA. But Briggs is not stupid, he seems like a smart guy playing a role, he would give up age (David Haye) or size (Wlad) but not both.

Well some people consider Tyson Fury the lineal champion so I guess this is the worst defence ever by a HW champ.
