The British public don't deserve a final ?? What kind of bellend talks like that. Just for the record, where you from ?
It's true All you brits talk about is how much of a pathetic job ITV have done with the rights. Apparently nobody cares about the cruiserweights and although there are some good domestic clashes 168 is **** weak and Degale is the king of the division. Now ticket prices are too expensive and its because of Eubank Jr, and if the PPV cost the same as an AJ PPV it's probably going to be too expensive and will get 10 buys total. The Germans have been totally positive and have had excellent attendance at their fights. Brits didn't even fill up the Smith fight and probably not even the Groves fight and they claimed Crolla vs Burns was a mega event and nobody would watch Jr vs Yildirim. The Germans should get the final if Braemher wins, at least they won't moan about the prices and it will sell out. I am from NZ
From start to finish its just plain weird your explanation. Lol your not even German, I could understand if you were. Is it because people are pissing on Jnr and Snr at all ??? They deserve it !
I really think the WBSS is a great concept and hope they can pull it off. I think the fights have generally been very enjoyable, and hopefully they get even better. So the actual tournament is doing very well, I just don't know if it is doing well financially. I saw an interview with Schaefer and it appears their backers have actually budgeted for a loss at the beginning but they have a long term goal. I don't think it's a good idea to have a loss in the 1st season though, and they might change their tune and get bored quickly. UK was obviously chosen as a major destination as they offered 4 UK fighters a shot in one leg of the tournament. UK fans here like to claim brits are huge boxing fans but I think I am starting to disagree and maybe it wasn't a wise destination to invest in. P4P NZ has a far more passionate boxing community IMO, Parker is on our national news regularly, so was Tua and Cameron and even the up and coming David Nyika. Kiwi's would sell out Eden Park for an AJ fight 70k and we have less than 10% of your population, NZ also has the worlds highest ppv rates per capita. I am used to people trashing the Eubanks so it doesn't mean anything to me, but sometimes I like to pull them up on the reasoning of their hate.
At least you mean what you say, I respect that, and theres truth in it in parts. What would Parkers average purse be in NZ? that's usually the best gauge on how a fighter is popular at home
My bro went to eubanks in Stuttgart. He got good tickets online the day before for 19 euros. I find it hard to believe that any tickets will be going for that price in Manchester. It will probably cost that for a couple of beers.
Cheapest tickets £30.00. As confirmed yet the WBSS website, how quick they sell is another point. All seats are considerably cheaper than those of Matchroom / Boxnation shows. Also same was said for the Smith/Skoglund fight. As for travel, MEN is attached to the Victoria station.
Parker etc will be on your national news regularly because, to be honest and blunt, NZ doesn't have any ****ing other starts who are worth mentioning.
What's the minimum price you'd have to pay to get a decent view in the MEN?? I Heard that even the top tier is a decent view but would like to know what people who've been here before think. I was there for Smith Williams 1 but they only had the lower tier open. Need as much money for Christmas as I can
I've sat all over the arena for boxing events. I think the £60 at the front of the 2nd tier would be ok, but I wouldn't go lower than that price-wise if you want a good view. I normally get tier 1 tickets, which is a good view. I prefer the view in tier 1 over the view from the cheaper floor tickets.
