If you're going to go by that logic, you can make the same case against Pacquiao.

No. Barrera was past it by that point. MAB's prime was 2-3 years earlier.

Before Pac he was unbeaten for 8 fights beaing Kelly/hamed/sanchez and even after his loss he had notable wins over morales and others and even went the distance with Pac in the rematch.

Even if I agree with you and say he was not at his absolute best he is far closer to his prime then any of mayweathers atg/hof opponents

Barerra had already had brutal wars with Jones, McKinney, and Morales and was thirteen years career when he faced Pac the first time. It can certainly be argued that, while a great fighter, he might have been past his absolute best when Pac got to him.

Pac had brutal fights early on and got knocked out early in his career so what?

I don't like Mayweather but in his defence, he has a great resume. Everybody's prime are different, it would be not easy to face them all in their prime, mind alone HOF/ATG.
He did face undefeated Corrales and the best lightweight at the time in Castillo, also Cannelo however young he was, was a great win.

Barrera was noticeably a lesser fighter by the time he fought Morales the 2nd time.

Pac was at/near the beginning of his career at that point.

I still view it as being the best win in the respective bodies of work btx Floyd and Pac. I just don't think MAB was at his absolute best at that point in his career- and facing a guy who held a significant style advantage.

Floyd's win over Corrales in that fashion and undefeated Hatton was better than any win Pac has ever had Morales 2/3, Mab 1/2, etc etc etc. Those wins that Pac had tend to get overrated, but anyone who knows boxing knows the truth

Bareera was around his prime even if he was not at his absolute prime he was very very close to it actually the experience he gained even made him a better fighter when he fought Pac for the first time its just Pac was so great.

nothing suggested bareera was not at his best before he fought pac and even after he fought him

Notice no one in the media or fans even made a mention of bareera not being at his best when he fought Pac?

Corrales was drained and he was not a hof/atg fighter at all

    Hatton was not a hof/atg

    I don't make a big deal of pac/may beating hatton because I don't class hatton as a hof/atg fighter
