Nothing personal I just feel like Saunders , Lee and Eubank JR are over hyped and overrated. Lemieux has enough power to KO Saunders.

I don't give GGG much chance in the rematch honestly, he's on his last legs and I wouldn't even be surprised if Canelo KO's him. Despite being reluctant to let his hands go he was getting caught with some big counters in the first fight and he'll be another year older by the time of the rematch, he's ripe for a KO. No need to talk about what will happen if it goes to a decision, we already know how that will play out...

 

Wouldn't shock me if Golovkin lost, I thought Canelo did enough to win the first fight and I was rooting for GGG, though I know my view is the minority view. Canelo gave Golovkin a lot of problems, he as you said countered him a lot, was able to take control of the centre of the ring and made Golovkin hesitate to come forward.

I can see an older Golovkin struggle and a more confident and aggressive Canelo raise his game to win a decision.

Canelo did more than enough to win. It's really a stretch to give Triple G more than a few rounds. It's ridiculous to just give Triple G rounds just for throwing more punches and "trying". Canelo was landing the better punches round after round, that's what wins rounds in prize fights, not "trying". Rounds 4&5 were really toss ups, judges just gave G round 4 because he did better than the first 3 rounds, not becuase he actually won the round. You could argue he won it, but it was still a toss up, it was just that it was the first round that you could really even make the argument that G won it. Round 5, I gave it to G, being really generous to G for landing that punch with a minute left, but if you really look at what Canelo did in the first 2 minutes, it's arguably better than what G did in the final minute.

I think G legit won 6 & 7, despite Canelo's big upper in the 6th (not much else from Canelo that round) those were really G's bet rounds, but then you got 8 & 9 which were toss ups as well, with Canelo landing several hard eye catching shots. I mean if you give G all those rounds, you end up with a draw, but that's giving G every benefit of the doubt, rounds that he contested, but still arguably lost.

Canelo just outboxed Gennady, it's as simple as that. We're in the minority because we pay attention to what happened, we're not biased against Canelo like so many are. We appreciate the finer points of boxing and what really wins people fights. It's like I said, G got the draw in the same way that kids get participation awards when playing T-ball. Like the inning's never over even when there's 3 outs until ever kid on the bench gets to hit the Ball. That's how G "won" those rounds, he was like one of the kids on the bench who still got to hit the Ball off the Tee even after there were 3 outs because in T-ball every kid on the bench gets to hit the ball in the inning.
