Miss that pr*ck as well. He was fun to watch and was packing some major power in such a small package.
Blizzy and moma used to marvel at the speed and distance Hamed could throw a uppercut, dreaming about the possible fisting scenarios.
In all seriousness, Hamed was one of a kind in the ring, loved watching him in the ring, until he ran into MAB he was looking invincible!! And his entrances were so over the top they were funny as ****
I certainly don't miss him , always though he was an horrible person ! Naz as a fighter lacked the mental strength to rise from adversity , he took the easy option ! Not fit to lace James Toney's boots ! FACT.
Nah, No way was Naz looking invincible before he ran into MAB. The signs were there that he was flawed even before he went life and death with Kevin Kelly.
Yemenese Arabs have serious physical gift such as heavy bone structure and stupidly large hands. They are genetically different to most other Arabs too.
Did you not watch the Kevin Kelly fight then? Its weird with Naz because i look at him as a wasted talent.
Definitely a one of a kind fighter, no shame in losing to MAB who is an ATG. I think a prime Naz would've put up a better fight too - there's an interview with him where he talks about how much he struggled to make weight for that fight. Could be an excuse but something definitely looked wrong in that fight, and not just the step up in level of MAB.
Love him or hate him you couldn't ignore him. He was brilliant for the sport of boxing, not many small boxers like Naz crossed over into the mainstream, he was probably one of the most famous people in the country at the height of his success. He'd KO everyone at featherweight right now. He brought so much excitement to the division, it's a shame his discipline went out the window and his ego got bigger than his waistline is now.
