Canelo just given WBO # 1 spot

Hopefully Canelo goes straight to the rematch in may... I'd hate to read the crap the beebs would say on here if Canelo chose BJS over a GGG Rematch.

Oscar is greasing palms again, the rematch isnt gun happen. Not next anyway. A rematch doesnt need to generate much promotion but even when asked about it GBP are very coy about it and like to remind people that there are other options even though the rematch is their number 1 focus.

 

Huge money rematch v GGG and yet they clearly on with fighting someone else infact anyone bar GGG.
Surely with the way Canelo been spouting off that he won that fight then you’d of thought he’d be longing to get the rematch but no he’s basically just carrying on from where he left off in the fight..................Backpedaling lol

 

So it's clear that if/when Lemieux wins, the fight will be made shortly after.
Maybe even if Saunders can get past the hooks and the judges that would be the next fight.

 

Wasn't he given that months ago? Beltholders from a lower division are given a high rank when they move up.
