Vitali dominated and KO’ed the current WBA champion, five years before he won the belt?

No wonder he is the eternal one.,

Vitali's status is legit and his c.v. post injury hiatus is hard to deny. Beating Peter the way he did was outstanding and he beat JC Gomez and Arreola when both were highly regarded. Adamek was a puffed up cruiserweight but had earned his shot with a number of quality wins.

The only real hiccup on Vitali's resume during that span was the bizaare win over Solis.

Most impressive of all is that he did all of it while his body was essentially falling apart.

This 'HW Championship' fight looked like Dolph Lungren's and Freddie Flintofs' first and only pro boxing match :jaja-no:

Beating Peters the way Helenius did was even more outstanding.

He's a weak titilist, it does nothing to boost Vitalis resume.

    Ha sure.

Lewis ranks way higher than Vitali on any credible ATG listing.

Vitali might come out of retirement to set the record straight against Charr after that questionable stoppage back in Moscow

Do people on here actually class him as a world champ?

I couldn't care less who wins the normal strap, it's meaningless. Effectively an eliminator for the super belt.
