I haven't had the time to nerd out recently, but got to see the first half hour and I was pleasantly surprised minus the male lead. Nice reminder to watch the rest later.

I am ride or die for Mssr. Luc (ever since Léon) - except for those Statham ones. I refuse to watch those on principle, as I feel like they would cause me to grow dumber at the rate of 1k brain cells/frame.

Damn I thought I was the only person who loved The Messenger. And please watch The Transporter series, you'll love them, at least the first 3, I'm a huge Statham fanboy, he's the closest thing this generation has to a throwback action star of the 80's, he's one of the few genuine badasses left.

I re-watched the 5th Element recently for the first time in years with my girlfriend (a millennial) and Lil Butt (now 5), and it really is crazy how much timeless universal appeal it has, across cultures and generations. I've never met anybody that was like "yeah fuck that movie".

Good evening, gentlemen. I'll be joining you for this RBR. Very much looking forward to tonight's HBO fights, not least to see the Krusher get back to business as usual.

It just looked to me like a cheap attempt to cash in on the whole Fast and the Furious hype. Action movies that prominently feature vehicles and vehicular chases/battles (to pretty much the exclusion of having anything else to offer) have never been my cup of tea, anyway.

I didn't set the bar that I high, I was assuming it wouldn't surpass it, so maybe I went in with the perfect mindset. I've grown accustomed to lowering the bar for everything lately.

Far better than that franchise, so good in fact, Fast and the Furious have added him to their stable, and the last few of them with Statham have been the best of the series.

Milla Jovovich. Should have become a much bigger star than she did. Getting handcuffed to a niche franchise like Resident Evil (which, unless I'm mistaken, even the built-in fan-base of the arcade games have always hated?) was a horrible career move.
