round 1 2 6 10 kovalev Clear rounds round 3 5 7 8 9 11 Ward Clear round 4 and 12 close rounds that could go either way. Even though it was a very very close fight most of the rounds were pretty clear. after the fight I said why I kovalev with JDJ he is a really bad fit for him. he didn't tel Kovalev what he needed to hear. of course everyone said JDJ is an amazing trainer and great for Kovalev.... yeah how did that work out for everyone? Anyway when looking at very credibles people score cards most of them are 114-113 either way.
Yes it would seem that way,OK Kovalev seems to have a rep as hard work to train but nonetheless as his trainer he owed it to him to tell where he went wrong and where he could improve. Whilst I thought Kovalev looked like the boxer and Ward the bowler in first fight in my heart I said on here I wanted Kovalev to win rematch but in my head I knew Ward was gonna do better and win it,who'd of thought though that the hard Russian guy couldn't get down in the trenches and despite those low blows I believe had they of been six inches higher the result would of been the same.
gonzalez cuadras 9 10 very very close 10 9 close 9 10 close 10 9 close 9 10 close 9 10 very close 10 9 9 10 close 10 9 very close 10 9 very close 9 10 close 10 9 very close 114 114 What a fight it was. Both were busy at times. Gonzalewz was more aggressive whereas cuadras was more accurate. Hard fight to score. But WTF was that showboating by cuadras tho in the 5th. Had me distracted abit. Overall i have no prob with anyone giving cuadras a comfortable win or a close gonzalez win. I did feel like cuadras won his rounds more comfortably than gonzalez who had some razor close rounds given to him. What scores did everyone else have?
What are some good early stoppage No Contests or Tech Decisions? I'm thinking in the ballpark of Williams/Cintron, John/Hosono, Dawson/Hopkins I, Donaire/Vetyeka, Barthelemy/Mendez I... Give those a watch. Won't take long. Also: Calderon/Cazares II, Calderon/Mayol I, Calderon/Mayol II
This is my score Prov algieri 10 7 9 10 9 10 very Close 9 10 very Close 10 9 9 10 very Close 10 9 very Close 9 10 very Close 9 10 very Close 9 10 Close 9 10 very Close 10 9 close 112 114 Very hard to score this was. It was a similar case with provs fights where algieri was more active and accurate mostly but prov was more aggressive but ineffective and landed the harder punches. The kd’s made the score much Closer. Algieri recovered very well and imo did enough to win, i could see prov winning this as well as I had prob winning originally but felt like I score some rounds wrong and went back through some of the rounds that I felt like I scored wrong and it meant that algieri won. Overall I have no problem with a prov or algieri win as it was a hard fight to score. Anyone got more fights for me to watch and what’s scores did people have for this.
I had 115-113 Cuadras, another match people were outraged at my scorecard for, still not sure why, Gonzalez fanboys are low level fanatics on here, no reason or logic whatsoever sometimes. Yeah I know, I picked Cuadras for the upset here as well, and they pretend like it clouded my judgment, which couldn't be further from the truth, how any of them could give it to Roman wide, that's the real biased and questionable scorecards.
Algieri-Provodnikov was the first upset I called on here. Good scorecards, I think I had it a point wider for Chris. I'll think of some matches for you to score later.
