Yes i think with Ward gone Kovalev could be seen as king of the division again. I dont think any of the current Light Heavies have the skill to do what Ward did with his distancing but even he only just managed it, struggling in the early rounds. Stamina is key still, Kovalev seems to of shone a light on his own shortfalling in the training camps but he has only just really acknowledged it publicly and he only went 2 rounds at the weekend. If its just words and he is going to go back to the beer and ciggys then he is guna be there for the taking again should any of the better opposition can drag him to the later rounds. With fitness and discapline within his training camps i think he would of beaten Ward comfortably the 1st and there wouldnt of been a rematch. But thats just my opinion. With the names youve mentioned in your video there are tasty match ups everywhere.
Painfully true and as we all know if you’re not despised by a quantifiable group of boxing fans then you’re not doing enough to be considered a HOF/ATG.

Nice video but once again you prove that YDKSAB. Kovalev is *not* the man to beat @ 175. Stevenson is. How in the hell is KANvolev the man to beat when he's coming off of back-to-back losses the second of which came by KO? What the hell kind of logic are you using?
I never seen the second fight after hearing how it ended but in the vids talking about the fight I was surprised to hear that Paulie Mallinagi had Kovalev up prior to that ridiculous stoppage by way low blows. Funny I just presumed Kovalev got done over from round one in the rematch but after hearing Paulie say that obviously Kovalev even in his dejected state still must of done ok.

And even on the inside, who can fight like Ward? (And Ward was not your typical inside fighter. He wrestled a lot and was really good at it.)
