You always doubt the old guys. Seal Harris could've been better than Lennox Lewis

He had a better hairstyle. That’s for sure.

He beats all but the Baer bros reasonably conclusively,. He might get toasted by Maxie. Impelletire,Santa,Torrance,Campolo,Harris were nothing much. ps Max Baer was 6' 2.5" Carnera 6'5.75".

Torrance was the world champion shot putter for quite some time,he was no more than a low grade journeyman boxer.

"He debuted as a boxer in December 1936, knocking out Owen Flynn in the first round.[25][26][27] His next three bouts were also quick knock-out wins.[28] In the aftermath of an aborted February 1937 fight, however, his manager Herbert Brodie was suspended and fined for attempting to fix his matches.[29] Torrance himself was found not to have played a part and continued his boxing career.[29] On April 28, 1937 he was knocked out in the second round by Abe Simon[30][31] and his boxing career subsequently went on a downward spiral."

Jack Torrance was extremely unaccomplished to day the least. I added him on the mix to increase the dynamic of the scenario being posed here.

He was a massive towering specimen, with fast twitch muscles, no? Don’t we have to acknowledge that reality? Jack Torrance destroyed all the 200lb fighters he fought in two rounds or less, until losing his 9th and last fight. Before that he only lost to Simon.

    6’5 260lb, AJ size basically.

Are SHWs too big for the likes of ‘outdated’ 200lb Joe F or not? Does Torrance contribute to any wear and tear of Frazier?

If Torrance was a modern guy, would he seem like paper machete, or would he seem like a hefty roadblock with a lot of strength and power, the likes never seem before by Frazier? You know, SHW power.

Torrance would’ve been Frazier’s largest opponent. And then he has to fight 8 other SHWs around as big, or bigger.

Does this not add up against him, or is that only a modern phenomenon? Is weight not 1 to 1 across eras?

When does fighting SHWs take a huge toll, and when doesn’t it? Do they have to be of a certain high caliber, or from a certain era?

He was also an NFL player.
Won the championship with the Chicago Bears, and went to the Pro Bowl as a Tackle. This was after his boxing career, and Wikipedia lists him at 285lb.

He must’ve been at least a very good athlete, being the best shot putter in the world at one time, an NFL Pro Bowler and championship winner, a high school Basketball player, and a destroyer of small newbie HWs.

Torrance 's victories should be viewed with a deal of scepticism.
Class counts and Harris, Torrance.Campolo,Santa ,Impelletiere did not have it.

Relatively unskilled fighters with limited defenses?

Tailor-made for Frazier. Only Max Baer or Primo Carnera would have a realistic chance of beating Frazier.

Before starting boxing. Then he came back down to 260 when he boxed.
Then he went up to 280 to win an NFL Championship and go to the Pro Bowl.
