I am....only because you are obviously a bodybuilder or someone who wanted to be a bodybuilder and has taken my comparing “bulky” muscle vs “lean” muscle extremely literal. Lol. However, I always said all muscles are the same...the muscle mass is what changes from looking bulky vs lean. No one has more muscles than anyone else, just more or less muscle mass.

In boxing gyms we typically look at a muscle bound guy and say they are “bulky” and a guy with less muscle mass as being “lean”.

But I knew a few bodybuilders and they take this stuff really seriously. They aren’t PT’s or S&C’s.....most of them haven’t even went to college but they do know a lot about muscles that’s for sure....and any chance they get they’ll want to prove just how much they know from 20 years of pumping iron. I totally get it.

I'm not a bodybuilder, I'm into fitness but just couldn't ignore the inaccuracies of your original post. There wasn't any other way to take it than literally

It's like saying Margarito is faster than pacquiao and when someone shows that is factually inaccurate turning round and saying "no you took it literally, I actually meant something completely different"

Anyway it's all good, at least we can agree there is just muscle and the only thing that changes the appearance from 'bulky' to 'lean' is the mass of it + body fat percentage

AJ's mountain of top of the line anabolic steroids have made his quads too big. Very beatable.

When will people realise that the best heavyweights to ever grace the sport of boxing were not gods?

    They all had flaws...

Whether it be Ali, Foreman, Lewis, Tyson, Vitali, Wlad etc etc

    For example....

Ali's engine was undoubtedly far superior to Joshua's, but his power was much weaker.

Tyson's movement and speed were far more devestating, but whenever his heart was questioned he was found wanting unlike Joshua so far.

It's always been unwise and unfair to compare era's.

You can only ever be the best of your own era.

Currently....based on resume's and performances, Joshua is exactly that.

the importance of a fighter's mental game is just as important as their physical conditioning
mike Tyson didn't "lack heart", he lost the only man who became a father figure to him, and then his demons, anger and loss of discipline took over

I'm not a supporter or a fan of Joshua, but I can see he's the best heavyweight in the world fight now.

No one is beating him for at least a couple of years. There are some good heavyweight prospects coming up, so maybe eventually he'll lose, but not for a while.

Parker is mediocre and would have no chance against Joshua. Wilder might have a punchers' chance.

Joshua is totally superior to Wilder any day! Bigger, 254lbs. Wilder 220, superior skills, stronger and has fought the better competition, Wilder has never fought one legit fighter! Not one!

in response to the OP regarding football, a bloke who's 6ft 6 is most likely to play at centre half or maybe midfield due to his size - unless he's a lumbering carthorse like Andy Carroll in which case a long ball team (maybe managed by Sam Allardyce) would put him up front. It might also be that Joshua was not very skilled at football - and lets face it, for all the kids that play in youth teams, maybe 1 in every hundred becomes a professional - and not even a top level professional (although to be fair, that has not stopped Ryan Shawcross from playing in the top division).

Also, to play football, Joshua would need to lose about 40lbs of muscle - he simply would not be able to last 90mins with all that bulk.

I know. And with all those college degrees flying around why would anyone want to do anything else?
