Golovkin wants the Canelo rematch in Mexico

This would be amazing. I love the pressure GGG is putting on DLH.
If he will be robbed, at least he'll (probably) make more money at Azteca. Also, maybe GGG is thinking the Mexican fans won't tolerate a robbery, even if it's in Canelo's favor because they revere Golovkin that much.

 

I think Mexicans appreciate the macho fighting style that Golovkin brings and that it might pressure Canelo to stand and fight as well. I'm not sure how Alvarez would react if the crowd started booing because he was retreating too much. A very shrewd move by GGG.

 

I doubt this happens... Oscar and Canelo will push for Vegas again.. Sadly they control it.. Would be awesome though but I prefer a neutral venue.. Other than Vegas..

 

One thing for sure is GGG would have more chance of a fair fight than in Vegas

it would be epic! azteca stadium holds up to 100,000 fans. i think canelo wins a close but clear decision this time around. canelo like him or not is improving leaps and bounds while triple g continues to show signs of vulnerability as father time catches up with him.

 

If Canelo doesn't accept this fight in Mexico what will that do to his fan base don't know many fighters that would not wanna fight at home this will show what he really thinks of his fans and golovkin has left to road blocks for the fight not to happen

 

Excellent idea! They can easily fill up the Azteca Stadium on Cinco De mayo with 100k fans, and it would be financially bigger for both fighters. Make it happen.

 

Of course he does,Golovkin heard the screams for him and the overwhelming Boos for Canelo coming from the Mexican contingent,he knows he’s well loved by Mexico who seem to like him for him always coming forward as appose to the straight up lies from Canelo who talked of knockouts and true Mexican style.
Anyway he needn’t worry himself just yet as Golden Boy and Canelo ain’t daft,Oscar has an amazing boxing brain and he knows Canelo was beaten by a less than spectacular looking GGG,they know if the rematch is straight away Gennady most likely beats him again but in a more dangerous fashion than before,they gonna duck this for all its worth until they think GGG can’t put on that heat anymore.

That's exactly what's going on. It's the boxing equivalent of a triple dog dare. No way Canelo can turn him down and keep face if GGG is genuinely volunteering to do it in Mexico
