Jump The Shark is a term created by Jon Hein to describe a moment when something that was once great has reached a point where it will now decline in quality and popularity. Origin of this phrase comes from a Happy Days episode where the Fonz jumped a shark on waterskis. Thus was labeled the lowest point of the show.

Apply that concept to fighters of all eras. It doesn't matter who. What moment did you realize it was over for your favorite fighter or any fighter in general? And what the hell, throw in trainers, referees, judges, promoters, it doesn't matter. Go to it.:deal:

Actually I'll one up you, Round 12 of Martinez-Chavez Jr. is where Maravilla officially jumped the shark. He was done against Murray.

Seeing Wlad struggle with Jennings showed me Wlad was ready to be dethroned shortly. Prime Wald knocks out Tyson Fury, no doubt about that.

Lewis when he had to cave Vitali's face in whilst being a whole 2 rounds down at the halfway point to beat a fighter who would go on to semi-dominate his division.

    *Looks around sheepishly*

David Haye the minute he started coming into fights at 17 stone. 15 stone Haye who relied on his reflexes and explosiveness will never be seen again. Wasnt finished against Chisora, especially with the fact he tumbled a man who had never hit the deck and was known for his durablility, he was still the same Haye that night.

Hopkins when he got sent headfirst out of the ring by Joe 'blue collar' Smith.

What a way to end a career.

Roy-Enzo was all the proof I needed that Roy wouldn't be the same fighter anymore.

When Price mentally capitulated against Cammarelle in the amateurs I felt it would re-occur in the pros, even when Price was highly hyped I wasn't sold.

When Kalle's jaw span with greater RPM than a circular saw, I knew he was on the finest.
