My money would have been on Froch. Though I'm certain 3G would have made it a fight. 160 to 168 is a huge jump though. You really are entering another realm of physical stature among men.

    So:

    You couldn't answer.

    Great.

Where have I said that Roy would easily have beaten everybody?

Just last week, I said that Michael Nunn would have been his stylistic nemesis and could have gone feint for feint with him.

Yes, I think Roy would have beaten Carl.

What the hell does that have to do with GG?

Roy was on another level to GG. He was much faster, he was bigger, and he had an unorthadox style which gave him a great defence.

I couldn't care less what you think. But you are making outlandish claims that you can't back up.

Like many other members on here, you debate with emotion rather than logic.

Kessler 2010, absolutely nowhere near his prime.

Ouma 2011, prime slick southpaw who would've gone up to 168 and given Froch all he could handle.

Froch, doesn't throw body punches, despite body punch KO's of Dodson and Mack and a predilection for sapping the vigor from opponents with regular hits to the midsection (one need only go as far back as the middle rounds of his final bout for evidence).

Golovkin, only failed to go to the body against Canelo because he's washed-up.

Froch, ducked the mighty Nathan Cleverly.

Golovkin, didn't duck Andre Ward in the least.

There's no talking to some guys, Loudon.

Prime Cleverly beats Froch by outworking him, he's had his chin tested by harder punchers than Carl Froch, Bellew is one of them. Bellew beats Froch as well, you probably disagree with that as well, you weird fanboy.

You said that prime Kessler would have beaten GG, but GG would easily have beaten Carl. It doesn't make sense.

Now you're saying that GG would have knocked out both Dirrells? Based on what?

You're the type of guy who garners hate for GG. I'm a big fan myself. But his resume and his performances to date do not suggest he'd have knocked out those guys and easily beaten Froch. Wake up FFS.

He's always been hittable, he's not particularly big, he hasn't knocked out any top fighters, and more importantly - he hasn't had a SINGLE fight above MW.

    You are talking absolute nonsense.

I'm allowed to state Prime Kessler beats GGG, and GGG still beats Froch, no idea where the hell you're going with this.

AA was getting to Andre, GGG sure as hell would for the reasons I stated earlier. I have Andre as a much better boxer than his brother, so in that sense yes, GGG would knock out both brothers.

Hagler never had a fight above 160lbs, I think most people on this forum would favour him over Carl Froch, I know I do.

Yep, Carl Froch is just another Karo Murat. Another Valery Brudov.

Every reply to you in this thread seems to elicit a thrashing torrent of completely arbitrary triangle theories that we're supposed to interpret as oblique exhibits of evidence in aid of your conviction that Golovkin strolls through Froch.

And you have the audacity, on top of that, to start with the "fanboy" catcalling? Gee-whiz, you're a real interesting piece of work.

No idea where I said GGG "Steam-rolls through" Carl Froch, I said he beats him by wide UD easily. GGG is an ELITE boxer, with power and a chin, I'm sticking to my convictions.

These types of things happen a lot in boxing.

The offer was just after Carl had fought Kessler again, and before he agreed to fight George Groves.

I don't think it constitutes as a duck.

Better pop out those reading spectacles, Poindexter. Or else calm down a bit and scan the page a bit more slowly.

Taylor was 4 rds up vs Froch, I think GGG is a more well rounded boxer than Taylor, if you disagree, fine. You can have your opinion, I'm sticking to mine. GGG knocks out Taylor as well, without being behind on the cards, or do you have Taylor beating GGG? Hmmmm You probably have guys like Duran beating GGG at 160lbs, this hatred towards him is pretty funny to witness.

But Ilikeboxing likes boxing, he's super-passionate about it and he's sticking to his convictions, so your contrary sentiments are not welcome here. Loudon, you are guilty of wrong-think and are now banished from any and all threads concerning Golovkin. Scrap that, you're banished from ESB altogether. No one insults our ELITE Lord and Savior and keeps his posting privileges.

This is the kind of mania that GGG has inspired ever since HBO started airing his fights. Golovkin's woman couldn't be more devoted to the guy than these odd creatures.

You can state whatever you want. But if you think that prime Kessler would have beaten GG, then it makes no sense for you to say that GG would then have beaten Carl EASILY.

Again, you're certain he'd have knock out SMW's, despite the fact he hasn't knocked out every MW he's faced.

Marvin was great. There's no doubt about that. He was elite. Carl wasn't. However, Marvin was weighing in at 157 in the days of same day weigh-ins, whereas Carl weighed in as a LHW-CW on fight night. That would have been a tough night for Marvin.
