@PinoyProdigy Sean Turner vs. Arnold Gjergjaj on the 9th. Solid little European clash. Might want to think about adding it.

I was going to respond to this the other day, but The Professor took it out first, so I figured I'd let it drop, but its been eating at me for the last day or two, so I scrounged it up and moved it up here.

Here goes, sorry in advance for the length. And the all caps, is for dramatic effect, in my voice, so to speak, not attacking you.

Okay, I don't think he's Bernie, nor am I propping Trump up as some kind of modern day folk hero, and yeah I know he's personally everything that's wrong with capitalism, that being said, I don't think that that represents his actual policies. He's rich, so what... so are Buffett, Gates, Branson, Cuban... and they separate their love of capitalism from their economic positions. For at least 30 years since I was a kid, I've been a low level fanboy of his, because I genuinely think most of his populism is sincere, because he's a romanticist, similar to myself. He truly loves America and everything that it stands for, including that old school pick yourselves up by your bootstraps conservative Democrat work ethic of the 40's and 50's. You know I'm a fan of Howard Stern, he's been on Howard's show off and on since the early 90's, and the entire time he's always been against outsourcing, he's consistently spoken out against both Clinton and Bush's terrible trade policies, especially in regards to China, he's always considered himself a fair trader not a free trader. Also, he's been a free speech advocate for years, and has told Howard and several other interviewers that he considers himself more of a Democrat than a Republican. And I highly doubt he was that premeditated looking down the road, to sell himself 20 years before he ran as an economic nationalist with relatively liberal social views, who considers himself a moderate Democrat. Also how exactly would that help him with the GOP? But, he hasn't changed his positions, and many in the GOP despise him for it.

Another thing, he's been consistently speaking out against first Bush and then Obama's abysmal neocon globalist foreign policies, he's not in any way shape or form an interventionist. Its easy for Obama to say he was against the Iraq War, he started running for Senate after everyone had turned against it, its pretty obvious he was being an opportunist like Hillary, only he didn't have all the previously cast votes that she had that the electorate could hold against him. Trump started speaking out against Bush's policies long before it was popular to do so, what the hell would he have to gain from that? The positions he holds in the areas of foreign policy, free speech and trade whether anyone wants to admit it or not, has a hell of a lot more in common wit Sanders positions than it does with the GOP's. Even many newspaper columnists back before they lost their s*** wrote that Trump is to the Left of Hillary on many issues, so all this ranting and raving as far as him being a liability in regards to foreign policy, they're being disingenuous full of **** alarmists. They covered up every crime Obama and Hillary committed in regards to their interventionist war mongering policies in Syria, Libya, Egypt, Ukraine, never placed blame at the feet of the CIA for all the "uprisings" that occurred there, the funding of terrorist organizations to overthrow a moderate liberal leader like Assad, because he wasn't pro-Western enough for them with the aide of genuine fascists like Erdogan and the Saudis. But now because Trump's in office they're all soooo concerned, its bull**** fear mongering on the media and the Dems part. Trump isn't a fan of neoconservative foreign policy, which is why McCain and Graham despise him, and also why the neocons by and large endorse Hillary, that alone should be enough to make any self respecting liberal recoil in fear at the thought of Hillary winning last year.

The reality is, the GOP hate Trump with a passion, they can't stand his fair trade old school Buchananite pro American Paleo-conservative tendencies, and they hate his views on foreign policy, because they are total deep state loving corporatist globalist one world Friedman loving flatearthers. Here's a decent metaphor.... the modern day GOP are all right wing Trotskyists they believe in a Worldwide Capitalist Revolution, and if you think I'm being paranoid, I'm sure you remember the Project For The New American Century correct? So does Hillary for the record. Well... Trump is the equivalent of a Stalinist, he believes in Capitalism In One Country, ours, which I can live with.

As far as what a POS he is.... eh, so what, you and I are NO angels either, what makes him a piece of ****? He says what he's thinking? Most people agree with his opinions deep down, especially when you take into consideration his real POV, as opposed to the PC filtered mangled version the media try to shove down people's throats. What's crazy and fascist about his immigration policies? They're mainstream Dem positions about 10 years ago, same goes for his stances on the LGBT community, his positions are actually more moderate than Obama and Hillary's from a decade ago, what's so insane about his POV on Free Speech and being anti-PC, I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY. He's not a racist, or a sexist, or a homophobe or an -ist or -phobe when it comes to anything, that's just the media putting words in his mouth and constantly twisting every goddamn thing he says into a PC pretzel to fit whatever anti-Trump agenda they're pushing at the moment. They did it to Hogan, to Deen, to everyone who ever says anything that is considered un-PC, they got good at it when Obama was in office, with their sanctimonious faux outrage any and everything anyone famous or in the media said something deemed impolite or controversial, and Trump is the recipient of their 8 years of training in honing their gotcha PC word policing skills. I guarantee you and I'd probably be rounded up and beaten for some of the **** we said in High School back in the 90's, probably a lot of what you've uttered on here, and I know the same apples to me. God forbid either of us every tried to run for anything. We'd be painted as monsters. Thankfully neither of us have any intention of running for dog catcher much less office. Trump is a crass guy's guy, so what, I find that refreshing, should we go back and slander Jackson, or Teddy Roosevelt or Lyndon Johnson for their un-PC braggadocios behavior? Not to say he's anywhere near their level, but in regards of being a foul mouthed a-hole he is.

That's the other part of the reason why I voted for him, there needed to be a realignment of the Left, its been out of sorts for the last 17 years. Here's the reality, its split in 3 parts, the Corporate Democrats, the Centrists, and the Left, the Corporate Democrats are basically Republicans, I see little to no difference between the Clintonites and the GOP, the Centrists want old school Democratic policies, but they capitulate and vote the party line no matter how much they may disagree, and the Far Left, which let's be honest here, are kind of... OVERREACHING, they've become the definition of authoritarian fascists, they're literally burning Free Speech signs, they've gone completely insane, and their influence needs to be curtailed, because I don't think you or I or quite frankly anyone is going to like what this country looks like if they keep getting away with their brainwashing and conditioning of kids into being soy boy, safe space loving, over sensitive, constantly triggered, post-modern, nihilistic, anti-capitalist, anti-American flat out Maoists that they all really are.

Think about it this way, here's another metaphor.... You and I are Metalheads, and you and I know that some Metalheads are ****ing weirdos, they're into Satanism, and are a little too fascinated with Cannibal Corpse album covers for their own good, they're kind of deranged Rod Farrell, Dylan Clebold types and they scare us. Same goes for me as a Horror geek, there's Horror geeks like UTF and I that love the atmosphere, music, the overall vibe, we like to let the era or ambience wash over us, and then there's a lot of Horror geeks that are just creepy ****s, who love watching people be murdered, dismembered and desecrated in violent repulsive ways, because they have a screw loose, they're kind of psychopaths. We like to pretend that that type of Metalhead and Horror geek doesn't exist and especially doesn't represent us, that they're the outliers... well the same thing applies to the Left, forever there's been two types of Progressives, normal pro-LGBT, pro-various ethnic groups, pro-animal rights, pro-women etc. WITHIN REASON, as in we thought the fringe feminazis were kooks too. But we also knew there's kooks that genuinely hate the West, hate America, want Communism, are anti-Free Speech Nazis, that hate men while saying they want equality, hate white people while saying they want equality, hate Christians... equality, there's even some elements that push pro-pedo policies. And none of the normal Progressives want to go that far and think they're fringe crackpots, well its pretty obvious to anyone who isn't blind, deaf and dumb, that that wing has taken over the Progressive movement, the people in charge of the Left are EXTREMISTS, it is what it is. And in good conscience I can't vote for people who have a social agenda that I think swings the pendulum so far to the left, that it comes out on the Right, or shall we say Authoritarian Stalinist Left (Right) alongside their puritan views on sex lately, and all this supposed "toxic masculinity" horse****. So yeah, the Left's equivalent of the legit crazy metalheads and horror geeks that we don't want to acknowledge, have completely taken over, and I'm not cool with it, one little bit.

So for me, I'm tired of extremism, from the far-Right with Bush, to the irrational bat**** Left under Obama, all the while his policies are Right. So if Trump can serve as a massive wake up call to the Left, to move to the Left economically and away from he third way Clintonista agenda, and for the Left to stop acting like ****ing lunatics socially, and chill the **** out, and try to remember what being a normal human being is, that dates, eats, watches TV and films, celebrates Holidays, watches sports, like a regular person, without CONSTANTLY shoehorning goddamn politics into every ****ing thing they do, then that might just be what the US needs the most. A little common sense and NORMALCY.

The Left have gone too far Right economically, and too far Left socially, and silly me, I was hoping an un-PC guy, with acceptable foreign policy, trade policies and yes even social policies, could set this country back on a somewhat rational path. As far as the social stuff goes I'm still waiting for someone to convince me that being anti-Trans in the military is tantamount to being literally Hitler, because its not, its reasonable actually, after all, it was the Dem position until 2016. Same goes for the so-called travel ban, everyone is in the grip of some form of hysteria and need to calm the **** down, Bush was far closer to Hitler than Trump, and we survived him, trust me, we'll survive Trump. And Mexicans, Jews, Blacks, LGBT's will all be just fine, as fine as they were pre-2017. Can't say the same for LGBT people in the Middle East or even in Europe, frighteningly, but here, everything will be just fine.

Also, even though I consider myself a liberal, that mainly applies to economic policies, socially I'm a liberal with a heavy leaning towards the libertarian side, I'm very hands off on a lot of things you probably aren't, like guns. I'm fairly conservative in these particular areas, guns rights, immigration, death penalty, national security, anti-drug, pro-cop, all within reason.. I tend to be a little harsher than most liberals on those issues, still what I'd call mainstream Democratic positions 10 years ago, I just never evolved on them. So I tend to see eye o eye with Trump on his liberal and conservative POV's. Although not on abortion, environment, and I disagree with many of his economic policies. But since I don't see eye to eye with Bernie on everything either, in different categories, I considered voting for Trump a push.
