Their is a Reason why Spence chose to fight Brook after GGG rather than before GGG which they never mention as well as is the weight cut which affected him from round 6.But i do believe Spence's Style is/was a nightmare for Brook in terms of his power and Inside Game.Of course his Body Attacks are lethal but Spence all about power,if Brook had stayed off the ropes and stayed in the middle outboxing him it may have been different. However i really want to see Spence v Garcia/Thurman as soon as.
Lol @ Sucker !!! I like that, reminds me of the A-Team. Spence fought Brook at a great time. He was coming off a stoppage loss at a higher weight, then had to comeback down again for Spence, plus the injury and surgery and on top of all that he comeback against a very good fighter too soon. Should've had an easier fight first and waited for his eye to heal a bit longer..Brook was a legit badass welter !
I would like to say that Brook is better than Peterson, just judging the fighters' abilities, but one thing I learned from Brittards leading up to the Brook-Spencer fight (they like to call him Spencer instead of Spence for some reason), is that Peterson must be better than Brook because his resume is better than Brook's (remember, losses count as positives on a resume because they're, well, on the resume, aren't they?). So using my new Brittard logic, I now have to say that Peterson is better than Brook. So Spencer is right! I've also enjoyed learning from our Brittard friends that, if you use your Brittard logic, Brook is still an undefeated fighter! It's all so logical!
Im learning in this thread that breaking your right orbital can cause your left orbital to break in your next fight. Interesting stuff.
All i see in these comments just like the Wilder-Joshua forum is Americans taking pride in the fact they have better fighters than a tiny Island, not even a country,a Island the size of Texas.Wow Yanks your level really has dropped,of course your IQ wont, dont worry about that, you will always be in a different league at that Particular Subject. But Americans carry on with your head held high, with your Palm above your Chest and enjoy your Cholesterol lives thinking everything revolves around you.
don't act, you get what people meant. you damn well know breaking your eye socket in one fight and going straight into another fight will have an impact. whether or not the same eye got shattered again is not the point. there are so many different aspects and factors that come with Brook fighting spence after the GGG eye break. I'm not a psychic or anything but i am pretty confident if Brook had not broken his eye in the first fight it would not have happened against spence.
Peterson is going to pose a stern test for Spence. He better not underestimate Lamont cause he's the type of fighter to make you look bad, even in victory. I look forward to this one.
Brook was sadly one of many to have one orbital shattered in one fight and the other in the next fight. He should've known better.
I'll be honest, I reckon your not being open minded about this. your quite clearly a spence fan, because its doesn't make sense how you can't think the ggg fight didn't impact brook in the spence fight. you just don't break two eye sockets out of the blue, never heard of it. Brook to me body wasn't healed enough within the time he had to fight his mandatory. Guarantee if Brook was to have had a voluntary instead of Mandatory, he definitely wouldn't of stepped into the ring that quick imo.
