If he can stay focused like he seems to be now,and get back in shape, who knows. He's what 29 now.I know he's had a bad 2 years but being a young(ish) heavy if he can get back to 90% of the Tyson we saw in the Wlad fight,he will do well in the division as it stands. His speed and upper body movement look pretty good for 5 stone over weight.I'm sure his footwork will be there once the 5 stone has gone.
If he comes back in decent shape, after 4 or 5 fights i think he UD's Parker. With AJ it's closer.I think he could beat AJ on points or even a late stoppage if AJ gasses trying to catch up with Fury. But if AJ can get to Fury by the mid rounds then a tko AJ'S way.
I think Wilder is the most dangerous fight, not just for Fury, but anyone.I know he has feasted on bums..but he has a good engine,is fast and athletic and probably hits the hardest of all the big guys.We all know his boxing skills ain't the best to say the least, and there's that chin, but he's very dangerous imho.

    He's right of course.

Chris Eubank Sr. never beat a real recognized world champion.
He beat Nigel Benn in 1990 for the "WBO middleweight" belt, when that belt was regarded as a joke.
He won the vacant WBO super-middleweight title with the rematch against Michael Watson, when both of them were fighting at 168 for the very first time.
Then Eubank beat a series of challengers for that fourth-tier belt, most of whom no one had ever heard of before, men dragged up from the baffling "WBO ratings" lists that were the worst yet seen at the time. A couple of the decisions in Eubank's favour were debatable too.

He beat a few good fighters, it's true. He was a good fighter.
But he never beat the best in the division.

Seems like Tyson v Bellew is gathering pace. Hearing is scheduled for the 11th December. There seems to be s different feel about it this time and I strongly suspect that a deal has already been done which will see Tyson’s return in 2018.

True, but he had zero interest in even fighting the best back then.

Always best to have fun getting back into training.

Nothing more off putting than having zero fitness then having to beast yourself. Obviously the improvement curve is steeper. But soft start blended into hard training best way imo. Someone like ty on wouldn't shown up finished to smash 1000 burpess

He' training with Ben Davidson a young MTK coach though I think that will be short term as Peter Fury is taking a break from boxing till after New Year. I would fully expect a much lighter Tyson to be back training with Peter at such point.

Thanks moog finally a sensible answer! I feel without Peter he won't develop. It's all very well being in shape but imo he's got much more to give the game and massive potential to develop new skills. Young new trainers will only blow smoke up his back side and his skill set will plateau. Hopefully Peter has said don't come back until you are serious!
