Joshua never got put over. Fury has been put down twice by smaller men and rocked by a light hitter. He never once took the shot Joshua took from Wlad.

Joshua may well gas... But he may also blast Fury out in one....

No, he actually doesn't. He's not steel by any means but he has taken some stiff shots without buckling. Fury hasn't a hope of KOing him. If he can get his shape and speed back he may well outbox him though.

 

Proof? He was dropped by Whyte in his first amateur bout and then by Wlad. He was stopped on his feet in the ams. Fury has been down more times where it counts and by much lighter hitters.

Troll all you want but Fury isn't the greatest or unbeatable and we'll see if he has it in him to lose weight and fight AJ.

 

I hope he's serious with the comeback! Boxing is more entertaining, and interesting, with him around.

 

Yep he still needs to lose 80-90lbs to be at a good weight. That's a hell of a lot to lose and you wonder if he'll be more injury prone due to having been so heavy or if he'll ever be the same fighter that he was. I'd like to see him in with someone half decent before he fights Joshua to gauge where he's at but I suspect Hearn won't want to risk Fury losing to anyone else before Joshua gets to him.

 

Yeah I can't see Fury KOing Joshua either, getting up from that Wlad punch proved while he can be put down, he can take a good shot and keep on ticking. Fury doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as Wlad.

But I could see Fury forcing a stoppage via sheer accumulation as Joshua fades, much like he did with Chisora. Fury did't have the power to KO Chisora either but he landed enough to force a stoppage.
