Thread of the KO king from Azerbaijan.

The KO king is coming for all comers.

He is 6′ 5½″ feet tall and he hits very hard. He has lot of one punch knockouts in his amateur career.

Aslanbek started boxing back in 2005. He never was successful at National championships for some weird reason but always found success in other competitions maybe because of his young age at start at least. He are his best results at national championships: In 2008 he reached quarterfinal of Russian nationals. In both 2011 and 2012 Russian championships he reached only 1/8 final stage. But he was able to found a success at youth and international level. Back in 2012 he won the Russian U-22 National Championships. In 2013 he won All-Russian Students Tournament. He made his debut in WSB series back in 2010. Apart from few early loses his WSB record was impeccable. Starting from March of 2012 he compiled a 12 fight winning streak with 7 knockouts and remained undefeated. In March of 2016 he had his last WSB fight. He was battling tremors in neck for 4 years during his career in WSB series and even was ready to retire but was able recover from this and now he is no longer suffer from it. He is set make his long awaited pro debut on December 8 in Canada.

Here are some of his fight highlights and fights from the amateurs:

Will be in my list of prospects that should be followed. The only thing that concerns me is his injury that you mentioned. I hope he won't have to retire soon.

He had strong pains in neck for all those years in WSB, so that caused the tremors to appear. He has said that he is fully healed now, so I don't think there will be any problems with that.

In the Nistor fight Makmudov reminded me a little bit of a very inexperienced, young Lennox Lewis.

Now all he needs is a rich influential promoter to pay off the anti doping cartel for him like a certain British HW of Nigerian extraction.

Truth is: unless you are like Wilder or Joshua with influential backers you are going to get met with so many obstacles and resistance in these corrupt pro ranks. They are going to drug test the **** out of you because of where you are from and you will get full B side treatment in all your big fights as well as being underpayed and generally exploited.

If you guys think the powers that run boxing want all theses E.E's and Central Asians flooding into their sport and taking pieces of their pie you are incredibly naive. Why do you think guys like Medzhidov Omarov and countless others never went pro? Because their is just no room for them and not many promoters are willing to pay them anything, especially when they can put their resources into guys like Big Baby and Breazeale.

Meh, Golovkin, Bivol, Kovalev, Beterbiev, Gvodsyk, Lomachenko, Usyk and probably a few others seem to be doing alright.
