Lets use the rule that no active fighters are allowed to be considered. Then no casuals have to make a fool of themselves.

I would personally prefer no fighters who have fought in the last 5 years to be considered, because we need to allow the dust to settle on their careers.

No. If you're going to rate Holmes you have to rate Wlad higher. Greater longevity, no really close or controversial fights during his reign, and fewer ducks.

 

Wlad cheated all the time (clinching) and Vitali cheated against Charr.

Lewis occasionally hit and held but was relatively clean.

 

Don't be silly. Clinching is entirely different to cheating. Ali had fights fixed in his favour and even had his own trainer illegally sabotage his wraps to buy him extra time in order to cheat the Great Henry Cooper out of victory.

This thread should be asking who is the greatest he since Cooper or even Dempsey rather than this disgusting fraud.
