And I think you’re making it out to be waay easier than it is, especially for a trait like “strength” and for a man who fought for as many decades as Foreman did. The idea that 65-yo Foreman can measure the strength of a man he fought as a smaller 20-yo against all the men that he fought as a much larger, more experienced 45-yo seems pretty far-fetched to me, but to each his own.

I think its simple ans straightforward because 9/10, it doesnt get much more simple and straightforward than whose stronger than who.

But to each his own. I already lnow why you dont accept this quote but thats a whole nother conversation.

Well, I would hope so. I’ve explained my take on these sorts of quotes and cross-generational comparisons in a number of threads already.

"(Foreman) was beat all the way by Ali, who out-smarted, outmuscled and finally outslugged him."

Kinda the way I see it. And I have both handled men... and been handled by them!

Imagine instead of Liston calling himself the President, he called himself His Royal Highness, King of England??

I'd imagine that Frank Bruno would have taken exception to that and challenged Liston to a friendly duel.

I always referred to him as a super heavy trapped in a heavy's body. It's his proportions and the way he was built

Foreman spent an extended amount of time with Liston.

It wasn’t a one and done sparring session.

    Call whoever you want.

Foreman thinks that Liston was probably the strongest boxer he ever fought. Cool. If you find that convincing proof that Liston was in fact stronger than everyone else George Foreman ever got in a ring with, more power to you.
