    Smith will face Vargas on december 9th on the Salido vs Roman card, pretty good fight, does anyone fancy Swifty's chances?

    Hearn probably thinks vargas in shot and he could be right or smiths get brutally beat up

    Its actually a pick 'em fight IMO, Vargas would have been rightfully a huge favorite a year ago, but he's coming off of savage beatdowns against Miura, Salido and Berchelt, those 3 matches probably shaved years off of his life, and probably wrecked his career, and he's coming off of a year off, Smith has a chance, albeit a very slight one.

    That's the same night as the Riga/Lomo fight isn't it? Are they running parallel or staggered?

    Stephen is a good fighter. probably like a 8th to 15th best Super feather in the world.

    I'm not sure, i don't think so as Vargas vs Smith will open the HBO card.

    Obviously this fight is down to how much vargas has left.
    It will have to be a worn out version for swifty to win this.
    Stephen should of stayed with frank hed of been a title holder a longvtime ago imo. The move to eddie didnt really work for swifty imo

    I still think Vargas might have a bit much dog in him for Swifty still, even at this stage
