Cotto's found his range perfectly, bopping to the side to land as he comes forward, brimming with confidence, zoning in on the body. This is all Cotto now, Ali I don't think wins another round.

 

5-2 Cotto. Could be closer, but Cotto's very obviously taken the last three and has been making consistently made contact with the jab and body hook during that time.

 

Can he keep this up?

Cotto is sitting on his stool barely even listening to Freddie Roach's instructions, all he can do to just suck air in through his nose like there were cocaine particles from a recently popped Ziploc bag floating in suspension and he were his onetime contemporary p4p neighbor Joe Calzaghe, and exhaling wheezily.

Cotto is catching jabs on his left forearm, turned over across his chest. Ali landing the jab in multiples from outside. Cotto trying for the left hook to head and body. Ali lands a 1-2 and stuns Cotto but he doesn't take notice, or doesn't care, still evading. Cotto is scratching the navel with his left hook and working in a straight right lead up top, getting a glancing one to back Ali up.
