Cotto is skipping out by the ropes, ankles clacking together as he breaks into a lateral trot while under fire. Ali now the one coming forward. Ali letting the leather fly. Ali leaving himself open to counters but walking Cotto down. Cotto unable to crowbar Ali off with a levered downward jab from its protective starting position up by his own face. Ali just slips to one side to let the jab miss his own head and clangs both fists off Cotto's eye sockets. Ali scoring combos with his arms down by his knees, standing in front of a puffy and swollen and mouth-breathing Cotto.
