Respect to Chris Byrd was so smart in the ring he could dominate most heaveyweight of his era and compete with the best ones.
I’ve been in the ring with both brothers either sparring or amateur fights and I can atteste to what Byrd is saying. Vlad has amazing power in both hands. Vitally’s power was not that impressive but his concentration, judging the distance, balance, overwhelming you, punching rate and overall ring generalship was amazing!

    DUDE,

You said 200 pounds. WRONG!!! 212 on the sales, which in case you did not know if 52 pounds above the middle weight limit.

There was no footage on Vitali? BS. There was a lot.

If Byrd took the fight on 8 days notice than so did Vitali DUH.

The bar is set even lower for you posts. Get some help son.

WRONG. Byrd said he weighed UNDER 208 pounds. Take it up with Byrd , not me dummy. I read in the past that he was 200 pounds travelling over on the plane and puffed up by eating Bratwursts.
Whatever he weighed was under 208 pound. He was NOT 212 . End of story. No more to it than that.

Again , listen to the words that are coming out of Byrds mouth... Vitali had never been on HBO . It was the pre YouTube era. Byrd had no footage on him. Nothing , nada , zilch.

They didn't just draw his name out of a hat. They done research on an opponent and thought Byrd would be a good choice. A champion always has more notice than the challenger dummy. Many challengers are left out in the cold until the last minute so they have less time to train and prepare. Canelo done it a number of times.
Byrd had no idea he was going to fight Vitali until his phone rang 8 days out. Vitali obviously knew before Byrd.

So there you have it ..

Took the fight on 8 days notice.
    Weighed UNDER 208 pounds
Had no game plan. Never seen him box. Winged it.
    Still won.

LOL, your always numb here. I wonder why? Sure if Byrd said it, it must be true all the time.

I could beat Roger Federer in tennis. Doesn't matter if I'm down 6-0, 6-0, all I have to wait for is an injury to his serving hand shoulder, and he'll retire. That is the only reason Byrd won. An injury.

If you have an objective bone in your body, you see Vitali injured was easily in the lead. If he was healthy, what the heck do you think the result would be?

Geez, the Flintstones Dino has more brains than you do.

"No, no, no, see, Byrd skilled his way to causing Vitali's injury by making him miss so badly" - The Dino Version

    :duh

In Dino's world Vitali gets injured 50% of the time and in the other 50% of the time his face randomly falls off.

But i didn't see an injured Vitali and you didn't either. And nobody at ringside saw it too hence why there was so much confusion and amazement when he tapped out in his corner.

We've all seen boxers carry real injuries and carry on fighting. A truly great fighter can find a way to win even when injured.
Id believe he had an injury if he took the rematch , but outright ducking it says the problem was more with Byrd than some phantom shoulder injury.

Dino's new theory: "Vitali Klitschko was scared of Chris Byrd."

    :duh:duh:duh

    "Phantom shoulder injury"

"Vitali Klitschko, who lost his WBO heavyweight title to American Chris Byrd on Saturday, will undergo a shoulder operation for a torn rotator cuff. Doctors at Hamburg's Fleetklinik, where he was examined, on Tuesday said the surgery gave the Ukrainian the best chance to fight again this year. Klitschko will be sidelined for at least four to six months."

But of course this won't be the first time somebody has whacked Dino down on this subject. Nor will it be the last. Tomorrow he will be at it again with the same goddamn angle. It's like he's running face first into a wall over and over.

Talk about parading your stupidity for the world to see

he probably was thugh in the sense that losing to a LHW again would kill his career, so no wonder he didnt pursue a rematch whereas another champion would make it his utmost priority.

if it was such an easy win, of course he would jump at the rematch.... saying it "would be" an easy win makes it look more suspicious that he didnt entertain it.

Vitali had simply lost his fearlessness that he possessed prior to lewis stopping him. He used to be the brave one of the klitschko family. Or maybe the thinktank team behind K bros management stopped him, knowing the fallout from another loss would ruin the team's image the selling of the Klitschkos would become a very hard sell as a world level team.

why should vitali not ever chasing a rematch for a loss of a fighter active during several of his own active years, mean anything other than u r wrong?

yeh thats why I missed that "bit", because its entirely unrelated rubbish.

ok, but theres no need to get in a huff and take it personally. byrd and lewis both removed vitalis fearlessness.
