    Dino,

Try educating yourself. HBO said Vitali was telling his corner about the injury inbetween rounds 3 and 4.

He fought 6 rounds with it and was well in the lead. If he had a better corner or knew how the USA press would react maybe he’d press in and risk further injury. But the arm went numb and he feared permant injury so he retired.

Many hall of fame fighters quit with less. Not that you’d know that either.

Oh, he might know that. But he'd choose to ignore it and construct his own reality instead.

HBO knew nothing of any injury when Vitali tapped out on his stool.

    Merchant - I can't believe what i just seen..

You know why he said that?? Because Vitali never showed any sign of any injury throughout the whole fight.. He QUIT cos Byrd was schooling him and because he was exhausted from the body shots.

Except for that he actually had surgery to mend the torn rotator cuff.

Dino "It's not true. I wanna see the hospital admission papers. Hang on, I actually want an affidavit from the doctor, because they could fake the admission papers. Wait ... the doctor could be lying. I want a video of the operation! Bu ... but ... how do we know it's Vitali under the sheet? This Klitschko conspiracy runs deep!"

    Dinomoron is a class-A twit.

Byrd, who annexed the WBO heavyweight title with the upset win, said a rematch with Vitali would have answered any remaining questions about the first fight, but none took place.

Following his first defeat, Byrd reeled off five wins by way of knock-out before gaining a late call to challenge WBO champion Vitali Klitschko in Germany following the late withdrawal of “Razor” Ruddock.

Was the winner sure the injury was real following his upset of Vitali?

    :sisi1

Here's the kicker . Uiniversum has so much control over Byrd that they kept him out of the ring and wouldn't let him defend his title until Wlad was ready for him. Wlad was able to get two fights in against Bostice and Barret , but Byrd wasn't allowed to have any.
Vitai had that rematch at the press of a button but shamefully ducked it to fight Timmo Hoffman instead.

Alas the euphoria of being the new WBO champion was unfortunately short-lived as Byrd was prevented by a man hell-bent on avenging his brother’s loss…

Vitali does not do well against slick boxers. It would have been interesting to see how Vitali would have done against James Toney.

whilst its established he had some kind of injury inflicted from his wild swinging at air, this bit about it feeling numb is a lie. It would be more difficult to move, the blood flow wouldnt be affected. The opposite to numbness would actually occur, there would be pain on movement.

Mendoza, when u have a valid point, dont ruin it with a lie in future.

The only numb thing around here is Herol's skull. Love the way he can accurately do a long-range diagnosis on a historical injury and even tell the fighter what he should or should not be feeling

    You mean like this:

"What are the signs and symptoms of a rotator cuff injury?
    • Pain or stiffness: You may feel pain in your shoulder that travels down your arm. You may feel pain all of the time or only sometimes. You may feel pain when you lie on the side of your injured shoulder.
    • Decreased range of motion: You may have trouble lifting your arm or placing it behind your back. It may also be hard to use your shoulder. If you have a severe injury, you may not be able to move your shoulder at all.
    • Tenderness or swelling: Your shoulder area may swell and be painful to the touch.

    • A popping noise: You may hear this noise and feel pain when you lift your arm."
