Plateaued? Close to ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY THOUSAND PEOPLE have attend Joshua's last TWO fights.

Wrap your tiny mind around those figures. Even Floyd couldn't do attendances like that in the states.

Wilder is pricing himself out of a belt.

Perfect timing for Fury to take it all, IMHO. One tune up against Whach or Whyte, then onto the big fights.

Have Fury fight Wilder, take his belt. Have AJ fight Parker, take his belt. Both meet late summer.

If Wilder doesn't meet those three, he should at least fight Povetkin or Ortiz. His handlers are trying to get him to eclipse Rocky's record but we all know it's padded.

Wilder is the biggest joke in Boxing.

Thats my problem, never going to get made now. It's complete bs. We have the top two HW fighters who assumedly are not scared of each other and probably both personally want the fight, but finances mean no.

    It's nonsense.

It isn't about comparing me to Wilder, people have different standards.

For example, I excluded a kid two days ago for having a haircut of a 1.5, whilst I was telling him how short and unacceptable his hair cut was, I was stood there sporting a 0.5.

I get paid about £30 an hour, that's £3 every 6 minutes. I'm sure Joshua would not be happy getting paid £24 for a fight going the distance, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be willing to work for my salary.

You have to remember we are stakeholders in this sport, not in these people. My vested interests lie purely in seeing the best fighting the best. Not in the bank balances of those involved.

Hearn should call Wilder's bluff and give into ALL of his demands.

Let's see what his excuse is then when he turns it down...

I'd love it if Hearn did that.

50/50 is fine considering the recognition Joshua would have if he beats Wilder. If it is the way to make the fight, than make it 50/50.

It'd be a very shrewd move. One that would really put Wilder on the spot.

Recognition? Wilder needs a win over AJ more than the other way around.

It's a bit like when Rigondeaux called out the whole of SBW and one by one they all left the division.

Yep. Hearn is clever enough to do it as well.

If Wilder rejected it, his fans wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

50/50 is not realistic while Joshua holds two of the big belts and Wilder only has one. If Wilder beat Parker and had the WBO belt as well as the WBC then he could legitimately demand a 50/50 split but while he only has the WBC belt then Joshua is entitled to the bigger split since he would be putting the IBF and WBA (Super) belts on the line. 60/40 or 70/30 to Joshua is the reasonable split, 50/50 would be extremely generous at this point in time.

Never mind his fans, he wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

It's not nonsense it's the real world. Just because we don't like it doesn't mean it's nonsense.

Both men want to get paid, both men will delay the fight til they get what they want. It sucks but that's just how it works.

You're right people do have different standards. Both will make millions and for this fight, more than either of us will likely ever earn in our life time, but from their perspective a million dollars is nothing. So from our point of view arguing over being paid amounts we'll never earn seems bizarre, most of us would happily take a million for either one of them to spark us out lol. But from their perspectives turning down a multi million dollar payday is nothing new.

Wouldn't we all, but might as well ask Hearn to have them fight in my living room for 2 beers and a half eaten box of Ferrero Rocher, lol. It just isn't going to happen.

It still amazes me how many guys are willing to stick up for Wilder.

Why doesn't Wilder's team offer Hearn £20 million?
