Why do people say RIGO IS A BEAST?

    I just watched the highlights of Rigo vs. Amagasa, that Japanese boxer that is very crude, the fight was in Japan.. did anyone catch that fight?? Rigo got dropped like 4 times with really soft punches, and they weren't even sneaky or technical.. what was that about?!!?! What's Loma gonna do to him then?

    Yeah I guess you are right Rigo is a complete bum don't even bother watching.
    He was just handed 2 gold medals and a world titles :facepalm:

    yea but that was amateur boxing. completely different sport than pro boxing. here's the fight. I'd like your comments on the knockdowns. Really soft and weak punches, nothing fancy or clever in them, but Rigo got caught.

    Great question... He's a beast for his skillset, that he was forced to acquire due having a chin made from egg carton.... which is why I'm picking Lomachenko to brutally KO him in 5.

    I don't think his chin is quiet that bad but its not iron either.
    Obviously incredibly skilled, good puncher but he is 37 and going to get ripped to pieces by loma.

    It's insane how many of the youtube channels have Rigo taking it.. they are predicting it like they have no doubt.. like 90% of them.. maybe they are seeing something we aren't ? thats why I posted this lol

    Because Rigondeaux is a great boxer with knockout power in both hands.

    Because most people on YT are idiots who DKSAB. And have clearly never heard those age old Boxing idioms, weight classes exist for a reason and styles make fights. And many of them have ulterior motives.

    He was dropped twice in the seventh. Got complacent and caught by a short shot by a guy who had almost twenty pounds on him and then took another count because he still didn't have his legs under him.

    Of course, he proceeded to come back and drop the much larger man while turning his face into an abstract portrait.

    Loma should be favored against Rigo, but doing this to a much larger man after getting put down twice is kinda beastly.
