    Not for me.

If Rigo KO's him though I think that has to be considered as a legit one of the greatest wins of all time. Not that I see that happening

This isn't really like Mayweather Marquez. First Marquez was a career Featherweight who spent virtually his entire career at 126 pounds. And Mayweather was a guy who was really a natural LWW. And Floyd didn't even make weight.

Loma is bigger than Rigo. But he's a small SFW who will make the weight limit.

Imo Lomachenko is head and shoulders above anyone fighting from a technical and talent standpoint, in my P4P he is already number 1.

If he beats Rigo then yes there should be no other guy out there who could be put above him.

I really like Crawford as well. Different styles between him and Loma but in terms of depth & breadth of skills, both are top notch. These guys have a very good balance of offense and defense inside the ring. I think Loma is more flashy and has a little more of a wow factor, but Crawford is just as effective and has a bit more power. I have GGG, Terry and Loma as 1, 2 & 3 on my p4p list, but all are justifiably interchangeable

lol. 122 isn't 160. 8 pounds isn't a small jump for a 122 pounder. And the morning rehydration limit has **** to do with fight night weight. Lomachenko will have at least 10 pounds in mass on him in the ring.

Well, what I'm saying is that Rigo is fighting Loma at 130... Loma will rehydrate to 138 max. That's 8 pounds in the weight class.

Pacquiao routinely fights/fought dudes that had 15+ pounds on him. Yet no one said Mosley/Clottey/Vargas/Rios were too big for him. Isn't Rigo more talented and more skilled than Pac? If he's that great, 10 pounds isn't going to be a deciding factor.

It is when Rigo is already a small 122'er. Dude could fight at 115 easy.

37+ year old 122 pounder moving up two divisions

Rigondeaux can legitimize himself with a win. Lomo winning is nice and all but not quite the magnitude I get the feeling many are viewing it as.

The P4P top tier is terribly weak right now. So I suppose the argument could be made. There are others there that would have a big claim since there doesn't seem to be much of a consensus right now.

I would think his case is very strong.

Golovkin, Lomachenko, and Crawford are the three best fighters in the world right now, IMO. I’d rank them in that order, but wouldn’t complain too much if anyone moved them around.

What I'm saying is that the rehydration clause is for the morning of the fight, not for in ring weights. Loma will weigh more than 138 in the ring. Rigondeaux doesn't care, he wanted it at the weight. I'm simply pointing out the physical advantages. Not sure why Loma fans are sore about facts being pointed out. I've never seen a 5'3 guy enlarged so much, to make it seem like they are the same size lol. I've never seen an old man for a weight class, made into a prime fighter. It will make a Rigondeaux victory that much more spectacular.

Pacquiao's build was quite a bit different than Rigondeaux', and he was on P.E.D.s, and their fighting styles are much different. If a 34-35 year old Bernard Hopkins was the champ at middleweight when Floyd was prime and welterweight champ, people would say that Hopkins was too big, even though they would weigh within eight or nine pounds of each other in the ring as young Hopkins sometimes didn't rehydrate hardly at all.

If Rigo wins and he's not on all of your P4P list as number 1 I think you need to watch a different sport because what he is about to do, well, I can't think of any time in recent history its been accomplished.

I don't think Loma jumps over Crawford, due to the size disparity with him and Rigondeaux. It really is a kind of no win situation for him. He won't get credit if he wins, and he will get totally **** on if he loses. If Arum wasn't such a hater, he'd have negotiated for Rigs to have an interim fight at 130 against a top 10 guy, and put him on the same show as Lomachenko. Rigs whooping a top 130 pounder would have tossed the size thing out of the window, and built the fight up quite a bit more. It would be viewed as an even more viable match up if Rigs was able to show he could easily handle a top 130 pounder. As opposed to now, where the vast majority think Rigs is too small, moving up from 122. Personally, I think Rigs would destroy all those face first latin guys at the weight class, and Gervonta Davis. The fight could have been built up way better.
