Only fanboys truly believe there man-crush can't be hurt.

Everyone can get hurt/dropped/KTFO - its just a matter of placement/awareness/power.

Even though I can't stand Wilder - Im sure if you let him throw a ridiculous - ugly windmill from across the ring that landed flush on the chin of GGG he would go down like a bag of coal.

That is the point. A few decent shots are not proof of a GOAT chin. Ridiculously low standards.

He’s been hurt. He just acts like it doesn’t faze him. Brook and Willie Monroe (yes, Willie) hurt him. Plus there’s a clip of a guy that hurt him in the amateurs. That chin isn’t going to hold up much longer now that he’s fighting good competition.

I didn't try to make a case for Golovkin possessing a greater beard than LaMotta based on his walking through Brook and Canelo's best efforts and shaking off the occasional dig from Lemieux, Stevens and Jacobs. That was you.

Take a good look, bud. http://www.tideshomeandgarden.co.uk/ekmps/shops/tides/images/antique-silver-small-regal-mirror-3970-p.jpg

No. Why would you assume that I was attributing that kind of statement to you? I took your words at face value and addressed the statement you made. If you would do the same, instead of reading between the lines, it would be a courtesy.

The hyperbole, seeing as you mention it, is implicit in the refusal to acknowledge detail. After quoting some cold stats, the extent of your argument was, 'Golovkin was never hurt, Jake was hurt and stopped. The end.'

Well, my shlong is bigger than your shlong.

For what it's worth, The Human Truck is probably my favorite fighter of all-time and I've long been an advocate for reclaiming him from the 'walking heavybag' image popularized by Scorsese's movie. Heck, I even made the pilgrimage to the Bronx in his honor. But I don't fanboy on the internet as hard as some, nor do I allow my affections to cloud my judgement, so I can forgive you for being unaware of the extent to which I'm interested in LaMotta's legacy.

Weeks ago, when I first began posting here. Forgive me for observing that your selection strikes me as 'vintage' tokenism in light of recent revelations.

You need more? He ate every single punch that slick southpaw Kassim Ouma hit him with. Every last one. Without so much as a wobble. Then he put him in the hospital. That's a pretty much unprecedented level of chinnage, brah.

Ouma was so far past it... So inactive... Youre gonna make me cry ;_; Were not talking about whether Golovkin has a good chin or not, were discussing whether Golovkin has the best, I repeat the best chin out of the hundreds of thousands of people who have ever fought at middleweight

If guys like Gerald McClellan can get chin props for eating multiple flush hits from a blown-up 154lber like Julian Jackson, why can't Golovkin get due credit for eating the occasional shot from a puncher who had previously scored KO's at LHW in Curtis Stevens? Plus, Nigel Benn dropped and stopped McClellan, Golovkin's never even been down.

But McClellan is not proclaimed the GOAT chin at middleweight. Maybe by airheads on youtube. Regardless, if Golovkin had gone to war with Jackson, a supposed blown up Jr. Middleweight (ridiculous), on top of his actual current resume then yes he should be in the running for GOAT chin at middleweight. He would have gone toe to toe with one of the biggest punchers ever and have stopped him. What else can you ask for? But he hasn't. Had the chance with Lemieux but played it safe. Im busy now so dont expect replies for a few hours sorry

I'm not quite sure how you ever came to the conclusion that we were in disagreement on this topic, but I'm going to guess that you don't keep track of usernames.

I have never seen Golovkin hurt by a punch ever....................if he gets old enough perhaps he could be hurt, but El Pollo's best punch did not even cause Golovkin to blink! Jacobs landed a good punch on Golovkin, Golovkin did not blink his eyes.....................Golovkin has a really strong chin..................but he has defense along with it...............and his jab keeps his opponent off balance...............

So you are going to hold it against him that he avoided the most severe punches from heavy-handed guys?

Every punch he’s taken - and there have been enough to rate - he’s eaten like nothing. Have you ever seen him hurt? Staggered? The guy very rarely even gets off balance.

You can’t say he hasn’t been tagged by punchers and laughed it off. Stevens, Lemmy, Brook, Jacobs, and Nelo can all throw. They all him him with their good stuff. He didn’t flinch.

His chin rates. You’re just trolling if you think otherwise. What do you wanna say, he’s 38 fights into his professional, championship career (after 350 amateur bouts) and you wanna say it’s unproven? Or you want to explain why you think it isn’t impressive?

Face it, that’s an ATG chin.
