it's not in the slightest. It's the exact same principle. Especially when he keeps claiming Burnett/Yafai to Ben the best in their division

He's a world champion, he should be ready for anyone in the division

Do you honestly think hearn just turns down these offers without consulting the fighters? its a dangerous sport and if the money isent good enough then why should they make a deal? I heard the offer was slightly better than what yafai made in his last fight and for a unification, you cant blame him wanting more money.

Difference is Wilder could get £10 m so would be set up for live, be surprised if Yafai is getting offered more than 175k. I am sure for even £500,000 he would fight anyone in the division.

Was you of the same opinion when Parker asked for a 40 percent cut?

I don't know what sort of money Yafai expects really. Where else can he for more? It's a shithouse move from either Hearn or Yafai, you can decide which but I imagine it's Hearn.

His point isn't about comparing the numbers directly, it's about Hearn saying Wilder should take a little less than he wants for a chance to be the top dog but yet not doing the same with Yafai

Lower weights lower paid unfortunately depends on offer but can't see it being too low as he is a belt holder if can get 250 300 k he is doing well

moneys not the point though, his words are, no matter the money, he's still preaching one thing then doing another for TWO of his fighters while claiming they are Number 1. I like Hearn but the hypocrisy is there to be seen

But my point is that money does matter if it's not live changing money. Plenty of promoters say they have the best fighter in their division very few are telling the truth, that's them just doing their job promoting their fighter.

Everyone knows the Hearn method of rinsing the public....

Talk up a fighter to the maximum whilst putting them in with no hopers until there is 1 massive money fight then throw them in totally unprepared but making a bit of coin...

there are endless examples of this ...Brook being most high profile case

It's a duck for sure, however it's far from a Khan/Brook type avoid.

Inoue is amazing, every time I watch him fight I'm amazed. He's a P4P fighter top 10 and IMO top 5 and I would have backed him vs Choco even before the Rung losses. I just think he's special.

I can't criticise Hearn and Yafai too heavily for not wanting it right now. There are plenty of huge fights in that division to be had before putting him in with this monster.

A genuine clean duck is when a fighter refuses to fight his OBVIOUS competitor, however in Kal's case there are several at this time. Hope this makes sense.

Sure it’s makes sense if he was looking to fight Rungvisai, Estrada, Cuadras or Ancajas but the only one that he seems to be pursuing is Gonzales who was dominated and brutally KOed by Rungvisai in his last fight.

I don’t know, maybe Hearns is seeking those fights behind the scenes and we just don’t know about?

I understand what you're getting at. The Tete duck is far more shameful since Burnett is a "unified champ". He should be forced to vacate one of the titles in an ideal world so Zolani can fight for what he deserves.

Yup, that's definitely a fight that should happen next or at the latest the fight after.

If Hearn is so caught on Burnett making dollar, then he should move Burnett up to fight McDonnell or even Frampton. If he stays at 118 he should fight Tete next, or the fight after.

Seems to be happening more and more lately, one of the worst examples was Gervonta Davis winning the strap and then his team came out saying they were absolutely not going to fight Lomachenko. If you win a title you should not prevent other champions from unifying because you don't want to fight them.
